So fun and unique
This filter is wild – I wasn’t sure what to do initially, but after playing with it/adjusting shutter speeds/iso, etc…I’ve gotten some pretty magical results. It works really well in dark areas with some external lighting (i.e. concerts, downtown, etc.). Not something I will use all the time, but a fun piece of kit to have when the situation calls for it.

Ein interessanter Effektfilter1. Verpackung und VerarbeitungDer Filter kommt gut gepolstert in einer Pappschachtel. Darin enthalten sind neben dem Filter selbst ein Mikrofaser Einschlagtuch und eine gepolsterte Filtertasche.Der Filter selbst ist sehr gut verarbeitet. Der Rahmen ist aus Aluminium gefertigt. Die Linse ist nach auÃen hin relativ dick, zum Objektiv hin aber flach.2. FunktionDie Linse besitzt in der Mitte einen groÃen Spot (ich würde sagen etwas mehr als die Hälfte des Durchmessers) Spot, der sich ganz normal verhält. Der AuÃenbereich erzeugt den hier gewollten Effekt. Dabei muss man allerdings bedenken, dass das einfallende Licht unter Umständen auch Auswirkungen auf den mittleren Spot hat und das Bild hier etwas milchig und matschig werden lässt. Man muss einfach viel herum probieren. Dann lassen sich aber spannende Bilder erzeugen, die in post nur mit recht hohem Aufwand möglich wären. Da Bilder mehr als 1000 Worte sagen habe ich ein paar Fotos angehängt.Ein paar Erkenntnisse aus den ersten Tests: Der Einfallswinkel des Lichts hat einen groÃen Einfluss auf das Bild â von einfach nur verschwommen bis hin zu lustigen Halos (oder im Extremfall eben das groÃe Gematsche). Man sollte relativ offenblendig (empfohlen sind, wenn ich das richtig im Kopf habe f/2.8 – f/4). Die Brennweite sollte im Weitwinkelbereich liegen. Hier ist der Effekt aus ausgeprägtesten. Beim Superweitwinkel sieht man irgendwann die Ränder des Filters. Je weiter man sich in den Telebereich vorwagt, desto mehr verschwindet der Effekt (abgesehen von den Halos), da man irgendwann nur noch durch den “normalen” Spot fotografiert.Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass der Filter gerade auch bei Videos einen spannenden Effekt erzeugen kann. Wenn ich das getestet habe werde ich die Aufnahmen hier ergänzen.3. ZusammenfassungGut verarbeitetes Effektglas. Definitiv nicht für jeden Tag. Aber an den besonderen Tagen und mit etwas Ãbung können eindrucksvolle Aufnahmen entstehen.Für den experimentierfreudigen Fotografen eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
