Warm Tips
When the battery is lower than the working power, the indicator light will not light, indicating that the battery needs to be replaced.The tester cannot be charged to test the network cable and telephone line, otherwise it will seriously burn out the device.The RJ45 head copper clip cannot be tested when it is not fully pressed, otherwise the port will be permanently damaged.
Crimper RJ-11, RJ-12, RJ-45
The ratchet structure provides effortless support and ensures effective and safe pressure. The handle is ergonomic, efficient, non-slip and two-tone. It can crimp CAT 5 and CAT 5e cables securely (not suitable for CAT6/CAT7 cables).
Cable Tester
Used to check cabling on RJ11 and RJ45 lines. “ON” means normal test speed, “S” means slow test speed. With 9 V battery supplied. The network tester can only check the correctness of the 1-8 wire connection line, but not the installation of the shield layer. (The “G” light must not be on).
Positioning Tool
Two different types of knife edges are used to cut excess threads. This tool is ideal for CW1308 telephone cables and Cat3, 4, 5e and Cat6 cables.
Professional Wire Stripper
Suitable for stripping round or flat cables. The stripping width can be between 3.2 and 9.0 mm. You can turn the knob on the top of the wire stripper to control the depth of the cut.
RJ45 Connector

Works as advertised.
Lots of negative reviews, but personally my faith paid off, the crimper works fine.Tester is accurate, correctly reported the 8th (right-most) wire not making proper contact.The RJ45s are good – not much else to note about them, but I must note, I am very happy with the connector covers. I didn’t think they would be the highlight of the process, but it makes everything look much neater than bare exposed wires.The multifunctional wire stripper takes a moment to get used to, but works really well.The mini wire stripper also works great.I don’t personally need the punchdown tool, but it seems and feels sturdy.The case is very handy though the straps inside are a bit too tight – difficult to put everything back in.All in all, great product for the money. Is it top of the line? Absolutely not – but you can’t realistically expect that from a £23 tool; but for a £23 tool, this is top quality! Highly recommended.

Fantastic Value
I originally just wanted a Network tester to use for CCTV installation however decided to purchase this for not much more money. The kit is really good value, the crimps feel sturdy and work great, there’s lots of options for cable stripping in the kit, I found the smaller black cable strippers easier to use than the ones on the crimps themselves.The cable tester is a not the best quality, feels quite cheap, however it works absolutely fine.Overall, great value and worth the money.

Everything you need to get started with Ethernet Cabling.Crimp tool feels well made, and comfortable in your hand, it does both RJ45 and RJ11 plugs. it also has built in cable tripper and cutter.In the kit there is also a punchdown tool useful for dealing with patch panels, allowing quick and easy cabling to be done.The network tester is a basic continuity tester, which works quite well to identify poorly crimped or incorrect wiring of ethernet cables. A battery is also included. the switch allowes for normal or slow pulses.There’s even a bag of RJ45 plugs and Rubber cable boots, and cable ties.All in, it’s a good starter kit, and includes almost everything you’d need to get started. Good to have in your toolbox just in case you have to deal with some network cable issues.

Great network tools kit for an intermediate level user and worth investing in. The kit has a heavy-duty Rj11 and RJ45 crimping plier which can be used for all kind of work from the home user to the advanced level with a heavy-duty punch down tool. It also contains two wire strippers suitable only for rj11 and rj45 cables and not recommended for all other kinds of cable because of its plastic material.it also contains a basic level of wire tester personally I do not recommend this wire test for professional work but highly recommended if you donât require to test in long-range for example want to test a cable which is connected to a server which is somewhere else in building and RJ11 or RJ45 wall socket is in another place because there is no buzzer or wireless connection to identify the connection at another side of that cable. However, personally, it’s a great network tool kit and Highley recommended for electricians and home users within the price range.

Everything you need for home networking in a neat little set.
I have a full professional networking kit at work but wanted a small set to have aroumd the house that did not cost the earth.Everything you will ever need for home networking is in this kit.So I will break down the review into the individual components.So firstly the most important part, The crimpers. These work really well, They are nice and tight in the action and even have a ratchet system in place! Not really required but still a nice touch.I think they actually perform better than my work set which is much more pricey!!I used them on both the RJ45s in the set and my normal ones from work with no failures.The Cutter/Stripper: Does what it needs to do, Was set to cut much to deep out of the pack and I had some trouble getting it to adjust as it had been wound down to far so it had come out of the adjustment screw.Obviously a easy fix but be aware if you go to strip a end without checking first!!The tester: Works fine and does exactly what it needs to do, Nice bright green LED lights :)RJ45 Connectors: Do exactly what theyneed to do work fine.Punch Down Tool: Works ok but this if anything is the one thing that lets the set down in my opinion.It does the job but if you look closely at the module picture I attached its not that clean.I personally prefer the Auto punch down tools with the impact/cutter built in which you can buy separately for not much money.All in all though a good set with everything you need for home networking.

Didn’t last long
The selection of tools and accessories is good and everything works as intended except the crimper. After about week of very light use it stopped pushing in all the pins, it bent some to the side. Using a flat head screwdriver to lever against the mechanism helped somewhat but now the crimper won’t crimp any of the pins.The set is ok but don’t expect it to last very long.

Does the job
It crimps cables ok BUT there are several unguarded blades for cutting cable etc. So, when crimping, it is possible to cut yourself (yes I did)! A bandaid and a screwdriver later, all the blades were removed and I suggest you do the same.The cable tester is handy though, good for checking long runs as it can be split into two parts.

Ich habe mir dieses Set gekauft da ich bereits andere Produkte von preciva in meinem Besitz habe und sehr zufrieden mit der Qualität bin.Auch hier wuürde ich ein weiteres Mal nicht enttäuscht.Für das masgenaue verlegen von LanKabeln quer durch die Wohnung hatte ich 2 Möglichkeiten.Passgenau kaufen oder selbst crimpen.Ich habe mich fürs selbst crimpen entschieden und dazu dieses Set gekauft.Zum set:Das set bietet alles was man zum erfolgreichen crimpen braucht. Selbst eine kleine Erinnerungslektüre wie die inneren Kabel gelegt werden müssen Ist dabei.Der Tester funktioniert super. Habe testweise extra ein Kabel gecrimped wo 4 der stränge vertauscht waren bzw nicht richtig gekrimpt waren. Der Tester hat es perfekt erkannt.Auch die Klingen und Cutter sind super angepasst und tun was sie sollen.Eine Packung Endstücke gab es dazu und diese habe ich direkt verbraucht :)Von mir klare 5 Sterne für ein tolles Set das keine Wünsche offen lässt.Ich habe übrigens cat6 Kabel verlegt. Wer sich also nicht sicher ist ob man damit cat6 crimpen kann. Ja kann man 😉
