The Smart Door Lock is designed to withstand cyber attacks, so it is not connected to the internet. You can only unlock the door at close proximity using a smartphone via fully encrypted secure Bluetooth communication or the Smart NFC Keys.
How long do the batteries last, and what happens when they run out?
The Smart Door Lock’s battery lasts over a year.
A backup micro-USB port enables you to reactivate your Lock if the batteries run out.

Useless. Status never updating in Apple HomeKit.Lock failed to calibrate time and time again.Having to manually turn to lock or unlock was a bit useless as most guests would forget so youâd end up not able to lock the door unless there.Keys donât grip in the lock so when twisting the key it would slide out so youâd have to start again.No keypad or fingerprint rendered this mostly pointless even when digitally assigning keys to friends/trades etc.Connection wasnât great to phone. Half the time no response in Netatmo app.Very bulky interior handle.Bluetooth only and it could not deal with multiple Apple HomePods.I spent 6 weeks with support trying to get an answer but with repeated silence from them I demanded my money back which took over a month after sending back the device.For its price the features are lacking. Look at Nuki, aqara or switchbot and they all have matter over thread and a lock/unlock motor. Plus you can still use your own key or keypad.

Top Produkt, einfache Installation, funktioniert klasse!Man muss den Schlüsselknauf halt selbst drehen. Aber dafür ist es kaum zu hacken, weil es nur mit Bluetooth funktioniert und man sich im 5m Radius aufhalten mussum es mit dem Handy zu öffnen.Wertiges Produkt, Zusatzschlüssel teuer. (3 St. Sind dabei)
