Excellent product
This is the third ieGeek camera I have bought. The original two were for a previous property and have worked for the past four years without fail. This camera is not only a lot cheaper than the originals but the tech has come on a long way. I notice that one or two critical reviews have mentioned poor instructions and the camera going ‘offline’ That is not my experience. Instructions are clear and presented well and the set up is extremely simple. The wifi connection is stable despite being some distance from my router and separated by a stone (as opposed to brick) wall.As for the ‘offline’ comment I can only say that this camera has been without fault. The ieGeek app is excellent and enables you to move the camera around remotely and set your chosen characteristics. The siren is off by default (good). The only time ‘offline’ has appeared is if you press the ‘lens switch’ button by mistake.Video quality is excellent as is the notification system. I don’t use the microphone due to where I have placed the camera but the quality of the sound both in and out is excellent so this could easily be used by the front door. Finally support at ieGeek is also very good and prompt. I had no need for it with this camera as the install was simple but I had a question with the earlier cameras and the response from ieGeek was quick and helpful. Highly recommended.

Amazing for the price
I am STUNNED by the quality and performance of this camera. Full of really great features like motion tracking, recording, night vision, two way audio etc etc. My neighbours have a system that cost nearly £900 and this one does the same job for thirty quid!!! Next day delivery, set up the app in minutes and installed very easily. Works a treat! Now while we are out, we can see when the Amazon delivery driver arrives, and tell him where to leave the packages!Going to get another for the back of the house.Update – I had a couple of little queries regarding the app, so I contacted iEGeek customer services and they responded immediately and sorted things out for me. Really impressed!Note: the problem I got was that I had the app running and logged on with both my iPhone and iPad. This is perfectly possible BUT can result in you getting a âsession expired – please log onâ message very frequently. The answer is NOT to log on with two devices at the same time.

great devices and fantastic customer service
This is the 4th camera I have purchased from IeGeek and I wouldn’t be without them, I purchased this dual band camera as the locations it sited a wall was causing massive signal drop on my wifi, it worked brilliantly for 6 weeks or so and developed a fault where it would not return to its position after motion tracking. a quick email to IeGeeks customer service and after a bit of trouble shooting and I was sent a replacement camera within 48hrs.the picture quality is excellent, motion tracking and alarm features are great. For the price point you wont find better camera and the customer support is quick to reply and extremely helpful

Fantastic camera for the money but doesnât have ONVIF
First off, let me say that for the money this is an incredible camera. The app etc is simple to use and the camera has so many features that you would only find on much more expensive equipment. The ONVIF issue will only affect you if you wanted to add the camera to an existing system as I did. I was going to return it because of this lack of feature but the camera impressed me that much that Iâve decided to keep it.The motion tracking is particularly impressive as is the ability for it to turn on small built in spotlights when motion is detected at night. Iâve turned this feature off for now as it was also picking up movement of spiders etc. The unit has a microphone and speaker so could even be used as an intercom. It also has an alarm that can be automatically or manually activated. The images are really clear and sharp, even at night. If youâre looking for a standalone ptz IP camera then youâre unlikely to find anything better in this price range.

Excellent quality images and motion tracking
Great cameras and easy to set up. Plug in and turn on near your router before installation outside as you need to install there app and scan the barcode on your phone/tablet with the camera itself to set up. Once linked add a micro sd card on the underside of the camera and seal with the rubber flap and format the card. You will need to drill a decent size hole if your feeding the power cable in the home through a wall at the power cable end is a USB adapter. Go through the settings for motion detection and tracking and set quality to qhd for best quality. Images are nice and sharp and work well in the dark when set to full colour. Built in lights are sufficient for night time recordings which produce plenty of detail. Live streaming works well and if you want to view recordings simply click history and flick through the timeline. Motion tracking works well if you do have an unwanted guest come onto your property, it will move automatically and follow them around as long as they are not moving too fast. Overall these are great cameras that produce plenty of detail and I can highly recommend them.
