Build quality not great
The concept of these laptop extension monitors is promising, but the execution isnât that great. The primary issue is stabilityâwhen attached, the screens feel flimsy and are not securely supported, making them prone to shifting during use.Another major drawback is the power setup. Each screen requires a separate power source, resulting in excessive trailing cables that create a cluttered and impractical workspace. Additionally, the provided cables are too short unless your laptop has power ports on both sides, significantly limiting compatibility and ease of use.In terms of display quality, the screens are underwhelming. Brightness levels are noticeably low, making them difficult to use in well-lit environments. Given these shortcomings, the overall value for money is disappointing. For a slightly higher investment, there are far better options available that offer superior build quality, display performance, and a more user-friendly setup.

A LIFESAVER FROM THE NIGHTMARE OF TOGGLING BETWEEN SCREEN TABS
I bought this to be able to do more and work on my laptop and make it easier for me,I donât know why I havenât got one before now as it is so much easier than flicking between tabs and copying and pasting.Now I can have it all in front of me at once and itâs a god send.It has its own carry bag for storage although I have just left mine attached on my desk.It took me a little while to get used to how much flexibility it has,as I was unsure on which way it went but after a while it becomes easy.Its a pretty good match to the colour of my laptop and fits well.It was easy to set up .The quality of the screen are good and are very crisp.I wish I had got one of these long ago as itâs already saving me so much headaches and time .

Useful size and good usability
Portable extendable monitors are becoming more popular, especially in the micro and cube computer where the trick is to get everything into the smallest pack as possible, the 15.6 inch screen here gives a good general performance at a relatively good low price.This screen is mainly looking to serve the Windows, Mac and Chromebook market where a 20w input feed is needed- I tried to get a Android table and an Iphone to connect, but it wouldn’t recognise them.For compatible devices, connection is quite easy, despite the instructions which reverse the input port diagrams just to cause confusion.. A PC and Mac can be effectively connected via 2 USB C cables and asway to go, the system can also accept hdmi-hdmi MINI, usb A-C power cable AND usb C-C cables also supplied- but also a US power socket, but no UK one.Connecting to a Windows laptop, the screen was instantly recognised by the system and gave a clear picture. I found the colour replication a little muted and although I could modify brightness and contrast, I couldn’t improve the saturation and the screen was giving a good detail, but weaker than the main screen colours.#I played some MPEG and DVD video and the system coped well, no lag, judder, pixelating or errors coming through and it was fine but not vibrant in colour again- the expected 1080 performance was fine also.I also checked it on text performance, it was generally fine for normal word applications, but did need a little screen magnification for text in both Word and Excel, without it, the numbers became slightly less sharp when on the normal screen settings and needed to be increased.Whilst this is a budget choice, if you are mainly using it as a standby/portable screen -it’s a good temporary solution, it has it’s compromises to get a good price value, going for a good central performance over strong deep colour impact and wider compatibility which will work for many who love the idea of being able to carry a relatively large screen laptop in an area of a paper folder.
