UGREEN 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub, Ultra Slim High-Speed USB…: I bought this recently to work from home with because the work laptop only comes with 2 USB ports. The connections appear to be well made, the whole device is nice and metallic which makes me think it will survive well. The built-in USB cable in quite short, but thick, so it handles the current requirements of larger devices quite well. What I love most about it is the USB-Micro port on the end that feeds additional current to larger connected devices like external hard-drives; that is a nice touch and not available on most of these hubs. I’ve used a few cheaper options before but this is special. I’m very impressed and happy with my purchase.

Unusual use and it works like a bomb!
I’ve used & sold tons of USB hubs (I work in IT) they’re so humdrum that its difficult to review. In this case, it was purchased to plug into the back of an Android head unit in my car. The head unit came with only 3 USB ports but I needed 5.It works perfectly, I’m able to connect multiple USB sticks as well as other devices. It even took a Samsung SSD hard drive that was connected with a SATA to dual USB3 adapter so now I have a 500Gb SSD drive in the cubby hole / glove compartment, loaded with tons of music & films, all thanks to this excellent hub!

As good as you pay for.Although it’s made of plastics, it’s a fairly good product. Enough ports, one usbC actually, and 10cm long.There are better product, yes, but this one gets the job done.

à un hub con poche ma discrete caratteristiche. Funziona per quel che deve.Ha una compatibilità pressoché totale con tutti i dispositivi, siano in ambiente Windows, OS X, Linux.- Il case è di plastica, peccato;- le porte 3.0 non hanno il caratteristico colore blu (per me meglio), ma sono effettivamente 3.0;- il cavo è un po’ rigido per cui andrà leggermente forzato per assumere la posizione desiderata (a voler essere esageratamente pignoli, l’hub ha l’attacco del cavo girato al contrario rispetto alla maggior parte degli ingressi USB nei più comuni dispositivi, tant’è che il logo UGREEN sul cavo è sul lato opposto al logo sul case, per cui il lato del case con il led risulterà girato/rovesciato verso il basso quando connesso ad una porta di un dispositivo).- l’hub connesso ad un dispositivo tramite USB, ma non alimentato dalla porta a 5V, regge discretamente due HDD da 2,5”. Connesso tramite USB e alimentato, regge bene 4 HDD da 2,5”. Per gli HDD da 3,5” è sempre necessario che siano comunque alimentati autonomamente rispetto all’hub.Nel complesso un buon hub, dal discreto rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato.
