Life-Changing Insight in a Beautiful Ring â The Ultimate Wellness Companion
I cannot express how much I love my Oura Ring â it has genuinely transformed the way I understand my body, my health, and my daily rhythm. After months of considering various wearable wellness trackers, I finally chose the Oura Ring, and I am so glad I did. Itâs elegant, discreet, incredibly intelligent, and unlike anything else on the market. From the moment I received it, the packaging and unboxing experience felt premium â the attention to detail, the minimalism, and the quality of the materials made it feel more like receiving a luxury piece of jewellery than a health tracker. I opted for the Heritage design in silver, and itâs truly beautiful â sleek, modern, and subtle enough to wear with anything, from gym gear to formalwear. But the real magic lies in what it does. The Oura Ring goes far beyond basic step counting and calorie burn. It offers a holistic, science-driven picture of your health, and its insights are deeply personalised. It tracks sleep with incredible accuracy â not just how long you sleep, but your sleep stages, heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, temperature trends, and respiratory rate. As someone who used to underestimate the importance of deep and REM sleep, this has been eye-opening. The sleep score helps me identify whatâs helping or hindering my rest, from late-night screens to alcohol, and I now prioritise my wind-down routine because I can see the difference. Its readiness score is a game-changer. Rather than pushing you to work out every day, it guides you to tune into what your body actually needs. On days when my ring senses that my recovery is low or that Iâm fighting something off, it suggests rest and gentle movement. On high readiness days, I feel confident in pushing myself further in workouts or productivity. Itâs like having a silent coach on your finger who always knows how youâre doing â even when you donât.One of the things I love most is the menstrual insights. Iâve never felt so in tune with my cycle â it predicts my period accurately and shows how my temperature and sleep shift across phases. This kind of cycle syncing helps me align workouts, productivity, and self-care to my natural hormonal rhythm. Itâs empowering and refreshing to have that level of visibility without invasive apps or guesswork.Battery life is another standout feature. Unlike many wearables that need daily charging, I only need to charge the Oura Ring every 4â5 days, and the little charging dock is neat and travel-friendly.The app is intuitive, beautifully designed, and packed with information without being overwhelming. I check it every morning â not out of obsession, but because it genuinely helps me shape my day better. Whether I need to stretch more, rest more, hydrate, or move with intention, I have the data and insights to support those choices.Lastly, I appreciate that the Oura Ring is designed with privacy and longevity in mind. The company is transparent about data and constantly updating the app with useful features, like guided meditations, breathwork, and sleep audio tools. It feels like they genuinely care about their usersâ long-term wellbeing. If youâre serious about understanding your body, improving your sleep, and making intentional choices around wellness and performance â all without wearing a bulky device â the Oura Ring is absolutely worth the investment. I canât imagine life without it now.Highly, highly recommend.

Hassle free, stress free health tracking.
Before we get into it, this is HEALTH tracker, not a fitness tracker. Yes it can track workouts but if you intend to use it for this, it should be restricted to cardio workouts, or any workouts that donât involve gripping things with your hands. If functionality with regards to tracking strength based workouts is your thing, you may best be suited by a wrist based wearable.Looks wise, this is a beautiful example of engineering. Oura have always made beautiful pieces of technology. I purchased the brushed titanium horizon model and itâs absolutely stunning from a wearable point of view.I daily this as my main wearable along with an Apple Watch Ultra for tracking gym workouts (I wear âdumbâ watches on a daily when not working out) but personally I find the functionality and the simplicity of the ring is just second to none. If you are looking for a wearable that provides accurate data (backed by studies), doesnât constantly distract you with notifications or reminders, and just blends in to your daily routine, then I think this wearable is for you.Value for money wise, it would be easy to say that this isnât the best value proposition out there. Other wearables provide the same form factor and, perhaps more importantly, doesnât come at the cost of a monthly subscription to access the granular data offered by the Oura ring and app. (Although personally I think the £69.99 total cost for the yearly membership option isnât too bad when you consider whoop is more than double the cost).Personally for me the value for money for the Oura ring, with the granular data it offers, the quality of the ring itself, along with a simply beautifully designed app to complement the ring itself, is there and thatâs why Iâve given this five stars. Iâve found it to be as accurate, if not more accurate when it comes to sleep tracking compared to my Apple Watch and it is far, far better at detecting naps or cardio activity compared to the Apple Watch. The only issue I would say in this department is that calorie burn and steps seem to be a weak point for the ring (but any wearable that tracks either of these metrics are wildly inaccurate for the most part)

Exceeded My Expectations!
Iâve been wearing this ring since a few days ago and this has impressed me more than I expected. Not only is it comfortable to wear all day/night, but the Oura Ring app is the real star of the show! The app is simple, intuitive and informative. It can track your heart rate, stress levels, blood oxygen levels and your quality of sleep to name just a few. Even though the app requires a subscription to get all the benefits, itâs well worth it if youâre serious about looking after your own health. The important thing to remember is the Oura Ring is only a health tracker and not a fitness tracker. But it really compliments any of your devices that can track your fitness as well! Just be sure to measure your ring size before buying one as I had to for myself. I have no regrets and can easily recommend this to anyone!

Useless piece of tech
A complete rip off. Providing bizarre and misleading readings throughout the week I wore it.I do also think these devices are potentially not doing us any favours by further fostering this outsourcing of an innate instinct we all have to read our bodies and make interoceptive decisions. It takes time and patience to cultivate or more accurately recultivate this instint (we have it as babies) but I’d rather go down that path than rely so much on some piece of tech. They can be useful sure, but I’d need to be convinced they’re highly accurate before investing money and faith in them.

Very happy with the ring, use it everyday. I love all the features it offers. Very cool to see my sleep schedule, and especially stress level!Battery last around 4-6 days, which is good I think. I love that it isnât a bulky watch. Not sure if itâs really good at measuring physical movement and burned calories.

I want to start out by saying that this in no way is a fitness tracker, if you are into fitness in any way and have an Apple Watch continue to use your Apple Watch. If you are curious about your sleep, stress, your period cycle I would say this is a good purchase, and get the ring sizing kit. Also make sure you check with your insurance provider â they might just cover this.1. Sleep- this really goes into detail about how much lite, deep, and REM sleep, this also calculates how long it takes you to fall asleep, your movements throughout the night, a part of this calculates your readiness (will talk about that at the end)2. Live Heart Rate – this along with the âdaytime stress feature (will do into that on 3), you can actually monitor your heart rate and do a âliveâ heart rate and actually feel the beats per minute, it calculates your HR in 30 minute increments. This will measure your HR at night (and it kinda calls you out if you have an elevated HR from drinking alcohol)3. Daytime stress – the app/ ring is able to calculate your HR based on stress (this will take a couple of weeks to figure out). It tells me when Iâm in relaxed, engaged and stress stage, and the restored stage (how long it will take you to recover from being stressed) this has really been helpful for me especially since working from home. This plays into your Rediness score.4. Cycle Insights / Natural cycle- Ladies this one is for you if you are looking to come off hormonal birth control and/or looking to start a family or if youâre honestly just curious. I will say the more data that you provide the app on your last 6 periods the better it has predicting (but no worries if you donât know it) will talk about the natural cycles app in a few. This will take your body temperature every day and create a graph, when you download the natural cycles app (which btw pairs wonderfully with the Oura ring) every morning you will open up the Oura ring app and allow everything to sync then it will transfer that data to your natural cycles app. There you will have Green Dayâs ( your safe days for s*x), and red days when itâs not safe (unless looking to start a family Iâm sure yours will be very different from mine). This will predict days of ovulation based on your body temp. And your est. next cycle. You will then fill out this form it will ask you if youâve had s*x, bleeding (for period), LH test, ovulation symptoms and your overall âhow are you feelingâ. The more information you give the app the better.5. Your Readiness Score – basically everything I talked about sleep, HR, temperature, âactivityâ even though I donât use it. I put my Apple Watch information into itâ your stress, this calculates everything and gives you a readiness score to take on your day. It may give you advice to relax, call you out on your drinking âhey your HR was elevated did you consume alcohol or have a late light snackâ sometimes it can tell you that you might be coming down with something, or that you can take the day on.I will say there are CONSâ itâs a wellness ring, not a fitness ring. The appâ¦â¦ itâs $5.99 a month⦠for a ring that you pay $350 based on the ring and finish. Kind of annoying. This does scuff pretty easy (so if you wear this while working out get a ring protector). However the Proâs outweigh the consâ¦. Iâm able to learn a lot about my sleep Iâve got some PTSD/ insomnia from the military. Iâve been able to learn a lot about my stress and period tracking. I think this was very much worth the purchase (I did hold off for a year).

Item arrived early. Weâd already purchased the sizing kit prior to purchasing the ring so it fitted well. Easy to set up with app. Annual / monthly subscription required.
