Great display, controls a bit fiddly
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this monitor, but when I tested it with my laptop I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the display. There are a lot of good things to say about it, but also one or two small quibbles.On the positive side: The monitor stand was very easy to assemble. The instructions were clear, and I had the screen attached to the base in just a couple of minutes. Only one screw was needed owing to the clever slot-in design, so there was no awkward fiddling about. There are two HDMI ports plus a DisplayPort socket, which gives plenty of choice of connections, and allows multiple devices to use the monitor – not something I need at the moment, but good for future additions. The image is sharp and clear, and I didn’t experience any ghosting or blurring when using it for text or fast-moving video. There are some good setup options to tailor the display to whatever is needed.On the negative side: The biggest minus for me was the operation of the setup menus. This section of the manual is not clearly written, and if you are not familiar with this kind of control setup, the controls are not easy to use. It took me a lot of fiddling around and muttering under my breath to finally get to the menu items I needed and change them to my preferred settings. This either needs a much clearer manual, or changes in how the menus operate – which at present is via a set of 4 buttons on the underside of the monitor, with very little guidance on what to press and when. The only other thing I felt was needed was some way of adjusting the angle of tilt of the monitor itself. When assembled, there is a tilt forward of a few degrees, which is fine if the monitor is raised by several inches above the keyboard surface. If it is just on the supplied stand with no extra height, however, this angle is not ideal, and there is no method of adjusting the angle of the stand, or of raising/lowering it for comfortable viewing. I prefer a stand that allows the monitor to sit vertical to the desktop, and this is not possible with this model.Overall, despite the small quibbles mentioned above, the performance of the monitor once set up is great – sharp, clear and good for all applications, including gaming. The price is also very reasonable for the quality of display.

Ha un bel design con cornici spesse solo 1mm ad esclusione di quella inferiore di circa 1cm e sul retro ci sono due zone con illuminazione RGB che non possono essere controllate via software ma si possono disattivare. La base è stabile ma permette di regolare solo l’inclinazione e non l’altezza e non c’è un sistema per nascondere i cavi dei 3 ingressi presenti (2 HDMI 2.0, 1 Display Port 1.4) e dell’uscita audio passante a cui si aggiunge il cavo dell’alimentazione esterna che utilizza un trasformatore da 12V 4A.Sul sito del produttore non ci sono dettagli precisi sulle specifiche del monitor se non che si tratta di un pannello opaco Full HD con tecnologia VA e una frequenza di aggiornamento fino a 240hz.I parametri di configurazione si gestiscono tramite 5 tasti fisici presenti sulla cornice in basso a destra ma c’è da prenderci la mano perché sono tutt’altro che comodi e spesso si finisce per premete il tasto sbagliato. Si possono modificare vari aspetti dell’immagine e con un po’ di impegno si ottengono anche risultati apprezzabili ma è chiara la natura economica del pannello e il contrasto di 5000:1 è utopia e lo stesso vale per l’angolo di visione di 178°.I neri sono poco profondi ma più in generale i colori sembrano spenti come se fosse applicato un costante effetto pastello.Ricorda più un pannello IPS che un VA e questo dopo una calibrazione manuale perché i preset proposti dalla casa madre sono decisamente sballati e purtroppo in HDR la situazione peggiora con alcune zone dell’immagine che vengono sovraesposte e dopo alcuni tentativi viene istintivo disattivare la funzione.La fluidità è la sua principale forza anche se permane un lieve effetto ghosting che comunque risalta solo in alcuni test specifici e non duranti i giochi. Nessun pixel o sub pixel bruciato e la retroilluminazione è omogenea azzerando il backlight bleeding.Nella confezione c’è il manuale che non comprende l’italiano, le viti per l’attacco VESA 100x100mm e un cavo Display Port che è sempre un’aggiunta gradita.E’ tutt’altro che perfetto ma al momento dell’ordine era il monitor a 240Hz più economico tra quelli disponibili e a questi prezzi non si può certo pretendere la perfezione. E’ un ottimo compromesso per un gamer con poco budget se invece si cerca una qualità dell’immagine superiore è necessario salire di prezzo o puntare a pannelli da 120-144Hz con un rapporto di contrasto reale più elevato.Di seguito i parametri per ottenere i migliori risultati ma attenzione ai menù in italiano perché hanno tradotto On / Off invertendo i valori quindi meglio lasciare tutto in inglese :ECO StandardHDR OffLuminosità 20 (da aumentare in base alla luce della stanza)Contrato 50Livello del nero 50Free Sync OnTemperatura Colore UtenteRosso 98Verde 100Blu 90Riduzione luce blu 0OD OffFlicker free On

Dopo 3 mesi di utilizzo lo schermo appare sempre disturbato da righe orizzontali, effettuato reso con rimborso, grazie allâassistenza Amazon.

J’aime beaucoup la qualité de l’image mais ce que je comprend pas c’est comment règler les Hertz car c’est bloqué a 60 hz alors que c’est censé etre a 240 hz. autre chose c’est qu’il n’y a pas de haut parleurs qui diffusent du son dans le moniteur ce que je trouve très dommage.
