Windows 11 – Plugged Together – Turn On – Works
I plugged everything together and it all works as expected. That includes the monitor connections, ethernet connection, sundry USB peripherals and laptop power supply. I can confirm that the case is metal. One slight niggle is that the captive USB-C cable is a little stiff, but I am sure it will eventually comply physically! INFORMATION NOTE: the hub appears as “ASIX AX88179 USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter” in the network settings. MAC address as always can be found using “IPCONFIG /ALL” in a cmd window. What’s with all the VINE reviews of a freebee product?Addendum: Someone else has pointed out that the hub itself needs 15W of power to operate. I didn’t pick up this as an issue because my power supply is 90W and the laptop only needs 65W to operate/charge. In summary: ensure your power supply is up to the task.Update: Following one of the many OS updates, Windows 11 caused the external monitors to stop working on power up. I needed to change the following settings so that the monitors came on even with the laptop lid closed. Go to Control Panel – Windows Mobility Centre – Adjust commonly used mobility settings – connect external display.

Good speeds
This dock is pretty well specced for the price, the speeds on the USB are super quick, but you obviously have to have the speeds required on your device. I have found that SD cards/usb sticks can vary greatly, but they are all pretty much hitting good speeds on this dock.The construction is fairly good and should be ideal for putting into a laptop bag and not having to worry that it will get damaged.There are better available of course but you need to spend more to get a level up of connectivity and speed, but for the money this is a great option.

Usage and manufacturer
The device is small, very portable and does what it says on the tin.We are using it to enable mobile transfers of CFe and SD card data to SSD and TB memory sticks.It also doubles as a way I can view images on HDMI compatible screens which is helpful whilst travelling.The manufacturer.The support has been poor, slow and not what would be expected from such a large enterprise.If you have problems (we have) they are none supportive and unhelpful.I could possibly recommend this as a company to buy products on if your hobby or business relies on the products they sell.

Working better than my last one sofar
Working better than my last one sofar.I am currently only using it to add x1 HDMI connection yet its seemlesly and flawlessly working as should and not glitched once yet.I shall update this review if anything changes.

I had previously purchased a 10-in-1 USB C adapter from a big box store that claimed to have the best buys. I had a 4K monitor attached to it as well as power delivery and my USB mouse to my Lenovo laptop. But the screen kept flickering, and my mouse would skip. After switching to this USB Hub (which costs less than the other one, I might add), all those issues went away. My screen no longer flickers, and my mouse doesn’t skip. Better price, better performance, what’s not to like?

Hace exactamente lo que esperas. Yo tengo mi ThinkBook G4 ACL con AMD, Windows 11 y trabaja sin peros. Tengo conectados 2 monitores 2560×1440 @100hz, sacando audio 24bits/48khz a mis bocinas, teclado, mouse, WebCam Full HD y red que sin problemas llega a al 98% de gigabit. Ah y mi cargador de 65W y todo en un solo cable USB C sin problemas.Me gusta la forma del adapatdor, es de ángulos rectos y hace que no baile cuando se apoya en algo, se calienta muy poco y que sea de metal me da confianza de que disipa muy bien el calor.Recomendado 👍

The charging issue makes the products useless and shows a clear failure in the quality check process by both the suppliers and Amazon. These services cause frustration and provide poor, unreliable experiences for customers. This is completely unacceptable—a big thumb downs for UPGREEN.
