Nice CO2 Monitor with frequent reading updates
Works well and I have the data picked up by home assistant, the CO2 is updating very regularly which is essentially why I have this. This allows me to make decisions to open windows as needed for good internal health.I have three types of CO2 sensor in the house.Tado – this only updates every 30 minutes. Switchbot with 1 minute update in comparison easily wins here.ESPHome based self assembled and coded. This is nice, but sourcing components and writing code takes a lot of effort. Switchbot while slightly more expensive also wins here for simple ease of use and getting up and running immediately.Overall the CO2 monitor from Switchbot is my preferred option.Note first unit sent was faulty and would not correctly detect CO2 levels, however was able to easily return and obtain another via Amazon.

An accurate and easy to use CO2 sensor
I got this CO2 Detector for a few weeks now to monitor air quality in my kitchen, and itâs been a game-changer. The CO2 readings are spot on, and the app makes it easy to track trends. You get instant alert notification on your phone and the device bips as well if CO2 level increases. It does work! Tested with a water carbonator machine next to this device and each time I use the carbonator the CO2 sensor bips lol! Great purchase. So far so good!

Accurate and well made
This provides values in line with other sensors i have. The update rate is quite slow on battery but fine when plugged in with the usb.It’s well made and has a premium feel and looks good. The screen is clear It was easy to connect to Bluetooth.

Brilliant device to monitor CO2 levels when Iâm working from home
The biggest win for me is seeing those CO2 levels start to climb. It’s like a little nudge that reminds me, âOkay, time to crack open a window and get some fresh air circulating.â Before, I wouldn’t have really known, but now I get that visual cue, which is brilliant.Beyond that, I found it pretty straightforward to get going with the app, and seeing the history is also helpful.

It has been great! Well designed, and helps monitor temperature, humidity, and CO2. The app to sync and track the data is also great.

CO2 sampling rate locked to 30 minutes on battery, with no option to increase
When running on battery power, CO2 sampling rate is locked to once every half hour. This is probably done with good intentions to save power, but it’s frustrating that the option to increase it is (likely artificially) disabled even if you’re ok with trading off battery life. When running on USB C power then it does it every minute. Hopefully a future firmware update can lift this restriction.Otherwise the meter works well. The other annoyance is you’re forced to create an online account before the app will allow you to connect to the local bluetooth device you bought, which seems totally unnecessary.

Good co2 sensor, right out of the box!
Excellent, good well calibrated sensor, just works out of the box. It’s well to remember that when using battery it only samples CO2 every 30mins Vs every 5 mins when plugged in. Also integrates well with Home Assistant!

Aggiornamento del 27.05:Sono stato contattato dal produttore che ha mostrato apprezzamento per il rilievo da me fatto circa la funzione temperatura del dispositivo impegnandosi ad apportare la modifica tecnica come da me suggerita.Modifico, quindi, la mia recensione considerando l’attenzione e l’interesse mostrata della SwitchBot alla soddisfazione del cliente.Strumento abbastanza preciso nella rilevazione dei valori. Purtroppo, a mio parere ha un grosso difetto. Possiedo anche un termometro esterno ed ero convinto di poterne leggere i dati sul display, invece è possibile passare dalla lettura interna a quella esterna soltanto dalle impostazioni dell’app. Mi chiedo perché mai utilizzare il tasto del termometro per passare la lettura della temperatura da Censius a Fahrenheit (funzione che magari verrà usata una sola volta nella vita dell’apparecchio) e non per alternare lettura esterna e interna? A mio parere questo è un grosso errore dei progettisti.Possiedo molti dispositivi dello stesso marchio, recensiti sempre come ottimi, ma per questo tre stelle forse sono anche tante.

Das Gerät hat von Anfang an einwandfrei funktioniert. CO2-Wert, Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit wurden zuverlässig angezeigt, zumindest soweit wir das beurteilen können. Die App-Verbindung lief stabil, alles hat sich einfach bedienen lassen â also technisch wirklich top.Trotzdem haben wir es dann umgetauft â vom CO2-Messgerät zum ânice to have, aber brauchen wir grad doch nichtâ-Gerät. Im Alltag hat sich für uns einfach kein wirklicher Nutzen ergeben, aber das liegt weniger am Produkt als an unserem Bedarf.Wer konkret ein Auge auf die Luftqualität haben will oder muss, bekommt hier ein zuverlässiges und durchdachtes Gerät. Für uns warâs eher ein kurzer Ausflug in die Welt der Messwerte â aber ein angenehmer.
