The Z-Edge 27 Inch Curved Gaming Monitor is a solid addition to my gaming setup. The high refresh rates with DisplayPort and HDMI make gaming incredibly smooth, especially for fast-paced shooters and racing games. The gameplay feels responsive, and I didnât notice any ghosting or lag. The curved design adds a level of immersion that I didnât know I was missing. It feels natural and makes playing longer sessions more enjoyable without much eye strain. The brightness is sufficient for most indoor environments. The VA panel delivers deep blacks and vibrant colours, making games with rich textures and dark environments, like RPGs, look stunning. FreeSync works flawlessly, eliminating screen tearing during gaming sessions. HDR10 support is a nice addition for compatible games, although itâs not groundbreaking compared to more expensive HDR monitors. The monitor offers great versatility with HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4. Switching between my gaming PC and console is seamless, and itâs nice to see modern port standards in use. The build quality feels solid, and the monitor looks sleek with its slim bezels. The VESA mount compatibility is a big plus for those who want to mount it on a monitor arm. While the HDR10 support is advertised, the effect is relatively subtle due to the brightness limitations. Erm. Looks good. Works well but no sound.Customer support has told me that this model has no built in speakers.Works fine with headset and external speakers.I can’t find anywhere on the product information about lack of built in speakers.Some of the reviews I have read state that the sound quality of the said built in speakers is poor.Do they have them or not.Frustrating.

Ces caractéristiques garantissent une expérience de jeu ultra-réactive, idéale pour les FPS compétitifs ou les jeux rapides.  La dalle VA incurvée 1500R offre une immersion remarquable avec des noirs profonds et un contraste de 4000:1. Après un léger ajustement des couleurs, le rendu est excellent, que ce soit pour le gaming ou le visionnage de contenus multimédias. Le design est soigné, avec des bords fins et une finition noire élégante. Lâécran est livré avec un câble DisplayPort, ce qui est appréciable pour profiter immédiatement des 300Hz. La connectique est complète : 2 ports HDMI 2.0 et 2 DisplayPort 1.4, permettant de connecter plusieurs appareils facilement. Petit bémol : le mode MPRT peut altérer légèrement la colorimétrie, mais cela se corrige facilement via les réglages. De plus, lâécran ne dispose pas de haut-parleurs intégrés, mais cela ne me dérange pas personnellement. In the world of working from home, I was sorely needing a second monitor. I’m thoroughly pleased that I picked this monitor to be my second monitor. The actual video quality from this monitor is fantastic. The quality has certainly blown me away. The colors are very vibrant and it’s sharp. Check out the video – It should speak for itself.Pros:- Great video quality.- Has AMD Freesync! I haven’t tried it out though.- Slim and low profile- VESA mounting!- Has Speakers – Can be used as a standalone TV if you input a video source. Video has the monitor playing the music.Indifferent:- The buttons are physical push buttons locateded on the back of the panel with labels on the front. While I would’ve preferred the slicker soft touch buttons seen on other monitors, some may prefer the physical buttons. To be honest, since the buttons are hidden, I don’t even care about this.- The stand was a bit difficult to install as it needed a decent amount of force. But I just used the stand to test it and then immediately VESA mounted it.Areas of improvement:- The UI system initially made me think I had a defective monitor! If you have no video coming into the monitor, it will briefly turn on and then immediately turn off! You cannot use the menu without a video input and the monitor doesn’t idle at all without a video input! I guess it’s a power saving feature but I initially thought the monitor was dead because of an issue with my computer!- Turns on slightly slower than my other monitor, but it’s not a huge deal and I’ve gotten used to it.Overall, this was a fantastically well-priced monitor that has absolutely exceeded my expectations.

Hab den Monitor gebraucht als Amazon Warehouse Artikel gekauft. Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt und habe direkt nen zweiten für ein anderes Projekt bestellt. Super schlankes Design ohne groÃe Display Ränder. Bin echt zufrieden und kann das Produkt weiterempfehlen. Bei mir ist die Anwendung etwas Abweichend und wurde aus dem Gehäuse genommen und als Ersatz in einem Virtuellen Pinball benutzt. Wird mit LVDS Kabel von der Steuerplatiene versorgt somit perfekt passend als Ersatzteil für Arcade1up Pinball Geräte ohne zusätzliche Platine.

This monitor is light, thin and bright. The image is high quality and I am pleased that it is quite bright and clear when powered directly off of my laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad X1). I also appreciate that it came with a variety of cables; I used the USB-C to USB-C connection. The order of connecting the cables matters, but was easy to figure out. I have to connect the USB-C cord to my laptop first, then the Z-Edge monitor, and it powers up and remembers the prior setting & configuration — this works roughly 80% of the time; every once in a while, the screen flickers and stays dark — as if it didn’t quite make the connection. This is easily addressed by unplugging and replugging the USB-C cord into the monitor. The monitor has speakers and the audio is about the same as you’d get from a mid-tier laptop (“okay” sound; not great, but certainly loud enough to hear). The foldable, magnetic cover is adequate as a cover, and so-so as a monitor stand. I purchased a separate, portable metal stand along with the monitor. Overall, very happy with the purchase.
