Light level not adustable
Note the sensor is not as shown in the pictures. It is not the old type with 3 adjustments. Only 2 adjustments are possible. 1. It is either operating in daylight or at night on a switch with no fine tuning. 2. Time on with 4 options. I deliberately choose this product expecting 3 adjustments on the sensor as I have just fitted a similar light with 2 sensor adjustments and it is not working as well as I wanted. The problem is that it only works when it is very dark. Other lights stop it working. If another light comes on it creates enough light to stop the new one activating. Or your car lights stop it working. Whilst I think the change from the old 3 fiddly adjustments to this much easier option is a great improvement the sensitivity level is not ideal if there are other lights around.

Purchased this item the end of November and no longer works, stays permanently on and half the bulbs donât come on, remote does work but most features donât work.

Okay for the particular location
The unit is neat and bright. The cable is rather short at about 30cm and there is no access to the terminals to change the cable; an exterior junction box and glands may be required. The day/night switching did not work; it operates only on a 24-hour basis, whichever switch setting is used. However, as there is very little traffic in the daytime, this is not a huge problem, though I wouldn’t buy the same unit again.
