Get what you pay for. Isn’t the worst of products.
It’s on a slower side and takes time to respond sometimes. Also a bit on a heavier side and bulky. I bought purely for holidays as the screen picture is great and the sound quality isn’t too bad. Can expand memory internally and also add upto 1TB of memory which I’ll be doing soon. While setting it up for about an hour It used roughly 13%. Also the tablet comes with silicone cover already on it which is always a bonus. Altogether I think it’s good product for 50 quid, but don’t expect much from it.

Look for something else
No return button. It stopped working after a week. Returned it to amazon. Not happy with the product

Démarrage:Tout est bien emballé, proprement et lors du déballage, une impression de qualité. La tablette, de petit format pratique, est bien finie. Elle est livrée avec chargeur, protection d’écran et une coque de protection silicone. Ce qui permet de l’utiliser immédiatement. D’autant plus que la batterie est chargée (recharge via un USB C) !À l’allumage, tout s’installe facilement via Android. Les comptes Google sont vite connectés et la tablette est prête à être utilisée.Utilisation:Principalement, elle va être emportée lors de nos déplacements et vient compléter avantageusement une tablette de format plus grand déjà présente mais pas pratique à mettre dans un sac. L’utilisation par les enfants lors des voyages et déplacements leur permet de faire des petits jeux, regarder des vidéos sur YouTube kids, Okoo,…. Quant à notre utilisation d’adultes, elle nous permet de regarder nos mails, faire des recherches sur les lieux où nous sommes en déplacement. Elle se range facilement dans une boîte à gants et reste super pratique. Seul petite remarque, sa vitesse d’exécution n’est pas égale à celle des tablettes bien plus chères mais vu son prix, cette petite tablette fait largement son boulot.Bref, parfait pour un objet à transporter partout et plus pratique qu’un écran de téléphone.

I resisted buying a new tablet for a long time, because I liked my old iPad so much, but UMIDIGI’s G1 Tab mini price was such a great value. The tablet came charged at 91%, so it was ready to use right out of the box. I was also impressed that it came with a crystal clear silicone case and a screen protector installed – you just have to peel off the external layer marked by the paper tab, and there will be the proper protector underneath (I tried to show in my video how it works).I love the regular minijack port for headphones and the charging USB-C port on top of the laptop (unusual) – I can use regular headphones and charge the tablet while keeping it on a stand for video chat in the vertical mode. There is also a slot for a micro SD/TF card. Ignore the little instruction manual leaflet – there is no tray for the card – you just click the card into the slot. It is a bit finicky because the card is so tiny, but I hope my video shows how to do it. Just don’t force anything – align things and it will work.The tablet is really well made and high quality. It is smaller than my old iPad, but thicker, so it weighs about the same. The size is actually perfect – it feels comfortable in my hands and it fits in a lady’s purse. I use my tablet mostly for reading books and documents (PDF, doc), and I like the lit up screen with high resolution, the strong contrast and vibrant colors. But the G1 Tab mini is much more than just a book reader – it has all the functions of an Android tablet – you can access the internet through Chrome, log in with your Google account to access all your online content and sync the calendars. It was actually the hardest part for me – to switch from iPad to Android. I could not find settings. Until… I started thinking about this tablet like it is an Android phone (except you cannot make calls). I have Android phones and it was the turning point for my mind. Almost all the settings are in the pull down screen accessed from the home screen (I try to show it in my video how to get to all the options). There is even a flashlight and GPS locations! Just like a phone. The only missing setting in the quick access screen is “display” – I cannot find it.Overall I love this tablet and I am not afraid to take it with me on the road – it seems really sturdy and the case protects the volume buttons from dust and sand. The camera is not the greatest, but I use my regular camera during my trips. And so far, I did not have to charge the battery – it has been a few days now of using it.
