Excellent Smart and Dumb Switch
Has been working faultlessly for months now, so it seems pretty durable. I have it integrated into home assistant, so that I can control it using automations from within HASS. But it also works very well as a normal standalone switch, with messing up the automations.I did need to get my electrician to install a deeper back box, as mine was an older, shallower type originally and this switch is only compatible with deeper back boxes. So keep that in mind.

Decent, but could be better
These are trivial to install and pair instantly, the connection appears stable (zigbee2mqtt, pi4 and a sonoff usb dongle). My only real complaint would be able the switch itself, it’s a tiny momentary surface mounted switch and the combination of that and the plastic cover means the switch has an annoyingly hollow sound and is pretty “tacky” to actually use (even if it looks rather nice). The relay is also pretty loud, and has a “twang” noise that it makes when turning off.

Impressive product once installed after some issues
I bought this switch to replace a 2-gang switch in my hallway which had one integrated time and light sensitive controlled gang being used to automatically switch an outside porch light. The old switch was unable to control LED bulbs so was effectively obsolete.I expected to control the new switch from my Amazon Echo Dot (5th Gen) speaker. It was easy to install the new switch in place of the existing switch and confirm that it could function as a dumb switch turning the two connected lights on and off via the switches. The little blue LED on each switch is lit when the respective light is on.The switch unit as a whole is put into pairing mode by holding down either physical switch until the left hand LED blinks. But I was not able to get my Echo Dot to “discover” the switch. Further web research eventually uncovered that although Amazon introduced integrated ZigBee hubs in the 4th and 5th generation Echo speakers, they did NOT put them in the Echo Dot. So I purchased a Moes ZigBee Gateway.I also purchased a Schneider Electric spacer ring because the Moes switch needs a deep (35mm) backing box and my existing fitting had a standard 28mm backing box.The Moes hub is a tiny box of minimalist design with a single reset switch and two LEDs. You need to download the SmartLife app to your mobile to set up the hub. This Gateway uses a 2.4GHz wireless channel to connect to your home router and you need to connect your mobile with the SmartLife app installed to the same 2.4GHz channel on your router when setting up the Gateway . Once I did that, setup proceeded smoothly, the Gateway was automatically discovered and updated with the latest software from the internet. When setup is complete, the phone can be put back on the 5Ghz wireless channel, if that is the normal one used.Even with the Gateway setup, it was still not possible to get the switch to be recognised. I tried moving the Gateway to the same room as the switch but with no luck. Eventually I disconnected the switch and wired one gang into the light switch in the same room as the router and the gateway. Once all the power was back on and the switch put into pairing mode, the Gateway immediately detected it and registered the device. After yet another round of switching off the power, moving the light switch back to the intended location in the hallway and reconnecting the power, the switch was still visible and controllable in the App.It proved a bit of fiddle to install the switch neatly. The faceplate screws provided in the box are not the correct size for UK backing boxes but luckily I had some spare ones. Also the Schneider ring is not quite the same faceplate profile as the swich so the two do not fit seamlessly one on the other. I intend to fit a 35mm backing box and ditch the spacing ring once I’ve psyched myself up for some chisellingâ¦Overall I am very pleased with the combination of Moes switch and Gateway coupled with Alexa and the Echo Dot speaker.⢠I can use Alexa to switch either light on and off by voice command⢠I can ask Alexa to tell me whether either light is on or off – an added bonus I did not expect⢠I have set up routines to switch the outside light on just after sunset and off just before sunriseAssuming the gateway and switch work reliably long term, I will be very happy. I expect to install two more of these switches for other locations around the house.

Just works (with Echo Plus Zigbee Hub too!)
If you need a smart switch for a no-neutral wiring situation, buy this one! Because it is a low power ZIGBEE device, a Capacitor is not needed in the light fitting, even for very low wattage LED bulbs. It just works. Just to confirm another review (and disprove another) – this device pairs perfectly with the built-in Zigbee hub in the Amazon Echo Plus (2nd generation), so probably all other Echo devices with Zigbee capability (check carefully, many do not). Just put the switch into pairing mode (blue light flashing) and get Alexa to discover the device from the Alexa App (choose Other, Zigbee). Rename the switch to your choice and that’s it. Faultless!

Make sure youâve got at least 35mm back boxes
This is an easy product to use, but doesnât support two way operation. You donât need the neutral wire but I think I can notice a flicker without it. The back is deep, so youâll need plenty of room, or get yourself a Schneider spacer, and if youâve got connection blocks, swap them for Wagoâs to give more space.THESE DO NOT WORK WITH ALEXA ZIGBEE BRIDGE IN THE ECHO. Possibly wonât work with the show either as itâs not Tuya. I had to buy a bridge because through the echo 4 I bought specifically for the bridge I could only see one switch on the two gang.

Good when works
So purchased this with intention of replacing a 2 gang switch, some things to know as I had specific requirements:- I paired this successfully with the Lidl Silvercrest Zigbee Gateway, using the Tuya app (not using the Lidl app).- I had one side of the switch which was also a 2 way operation, this switch doesnt support 2 way at all, so I had to diagnose the cabling to essentially return the switch back to a one way operation for this to work with this switch.- Once all setup and integrated I then imported into Google Home and setup the necessary routines turning the lights on an off as i required.Build quality seemed decent enough. Finally I had the switch plugged in working for one day after which it failed and as such have had to return. Now debating if its worth re-purchasing the same brand or considering another…

Works great
I have these switches in the 1,2 and 3 gang versions and all work well. In one case I had a single old very low wattage bulb fitted and it did flash when off but I changed it for a LED bulb and it was fine. Sometimes I am in what I like to call my office and it gets dark so now I have a 2 gang switch fitted and one switch is not wired but I. have it programmed to turn on lights so I can see to go down stairs etc.I have other Moes equipment and the light automatically comes on in the garage when I open the door. I have other functions that only work at night or when I am out etc.The wiring is easy but the lights are thick so need something to give extra space for installation.

Had to repair it before it would work
Set it up but would not switch the lights on. Dismantled it and found a connector not properly soldered on. After I fixed it, it worked OK.

Every x months it stops to work and then you need to unmount it from the wall, wait some days and mount again. This product is low quality.
