Great Product, well worth doing the mods shown
Works a treat, sets off quite a ROW and has extraordinary range. It covers the whole front of the house and drive so picks up movement anywhere. And contrary to another report it always goes off when my electric car arrives, its MOVEMENT that sets, doesn’t matter what it is that’s moving.The outside receiver unit is made to run on 2xAA 1.5v batteries, which didn’t last long; so for £8 I bought a 240v – 5v adapter (on Amazon). Just needed to remove the rear battery cover and drill 2 holes, then cut off the plug on the 5v end of the adapter, solder the ends to the tabs in the back of the unit then seal so to keep water out. Now it will run forever that its got the mains power.I bought two of the sounder units which are for mains electricity – one inside the house and the other outside, via a timer to work mainly in the dark hours. I made sure to waterproof the outside unit as well.Does it work? YES – has woke me up a couple of times. It’s inspired me to now add an outside camera.

This is the best driveway alarm you can buy! The range is better than stated even including old-house thick walls.Each sensor has it’s own chime option – including silence when necessary -so you know which sensor has been tripped.Pairing additional sensors and sounders is quick and easy. We now have two sensors, two bell pushes and four sounders and they all work perfectly.

3 AA Batteries every in less than 4 days!
Receiver is 15m away. Works fine. Very simple to setup but in the last 6 days, I’ve had to replace the 3 AA batteries every 3 days. I thought I’d maybe had a bad set of batteries but nope, a new set of branded and expensive batteries, voltage checked before I put them in last Thursday and today the following Monday, it’s not working. The batteries are dead.After checking it’s not 4 days , it’s 3 and I’ve missed the return window.Maybe mine is faulty but to me, this is working junk.

I need this product for protecting animals literally for dogs, mine is a open space roof type of parking space and this street dogs come and play at night and damage the car cover if I have put them on else scratches the car bonnet and do lot of damages looking for something I have no idea, I have spent more than 3 covers because all of them damaged, costed me more than 7k, I tried to get the motion detection sensor added to the car to scare the dogs but now itâs not available in markets as it is banned by the government, I tried to build something using PNR sensors those litterly gives sounds for any motions at night, after a long sleepless nights I found this product at Amazon this does not work like PNR how ever it works based on hear signals so only a living or a hear source will trigger the signals not the motions, it is so precise for what I need and signals and sounds and really great even the reactive time is excellent, you will see the quality of the product when you touch them good quality of plastics. I liked it works really well, if ordering from India make sure you have suitable adopter itâs in US type plug the receiver.It is a not a PNR that has wide focus itâs like a mono focus where the eye is pointed it will only sense from there, but it is easy to point the eye, since it comes with the ball type of rotation adjustment.I am happy with the product no issues found as of now. Working greatOverseas purchase but got the package safe without any damages like regular deliveries.

Easy to assemble and mount to your desired location with hardware included. The range works well and you have 35 tones to choose from. However, if you relocate the receiver to a different wall outlet after choosing your tune, the device changes the tune to the next one automatically. There is no “save this tune” feature. So, unless you want the tune changing should you decide to move it, leave the receiver alone. I live where there is lots of animal traffic that will set the alarm off, but I learned that there is “mute” on the volume control so that I can turn off the tune while keeping it as my default tone and the “eyes” of the receiver owl light up notifying me there is movement outside. So far, I would recommend this product, as it has been working well.

This alerts us to couriers entering our 9 acre complex through the main gate so a member can greet them and sign documents. Simple to install and works like a champ in our cold winter weather with non rechargeable 1.5 volt lithium batteries installed. This is a quality product with rubber seals on the battery compartment and brass inserts for the stainless machine screws. Just put the batteries in the transmitter and mount it with the provided hardware, plug in the receiver wherever you like in your building and your in business. No programming or anything else.Edit: There is nothing that drives my decision to purchase like reviews which identify vendors which stand behind their product. The driveway alarm comes with a letter from the owner of the company indicating if there is ever a problem just contact them. In my case my alarm was victimized by a torrential rain that lasted for hours. It just pounded down like a fire hose from the sky. The next day my driveway alarm was not working. The system of seals normally capable of keeping rain out had been defeated. To be frank, I was not surprised. I contacted the support email and 3 days later a new outdoor sensor was delivered to me. This time I simply put a small plastic bag over the outdoor sensor unit and snapped it into the bracket. This remains a capable, well built, well supported unit. That rain that came down was like having the unit endure a pressure washer and the vendor still stood behind their product……immediately!!!!

This is a wonderful alarm we use for our driveway. We live in the country & our driveway is a little long. We placed the unit on our mailbox and the owl eyes in the kitchen. We went through several different ring tones & found one we both agreed on. It’s motion sensored so it’s great hearing the alert that someone is in the driveway now, instead of being surprised at seeing someone pulling into the driveway or standing on the porch. The only negative thing I could say, if you can call it negative, is that birds & squirrels set it off sometimes when they pass in front of it, but it’s really no bother for us. LOL!!! Definitely recommend this product.
