Troubleshooting of Connection Please follow the steps below to troubleshoot networking issues
1. Please confirm that you have downloaded the correct APP: Lepro APP (this bulb is not compatible with LampUX or Smartlife APP)
2. Please confirm that Bluetooth and WiFi are turned on and that the WiFi is 2.4Ghz WiFi
3. Check if the WiFi signal strength at the controller’s location is above -75dm (use tools like “VREM WiFi Analyzer”)
4. Please confirm that the WiFi name & password entered is correct. If the issue persists, please send us the device ID so we can help you resolve the issue.

Very good light bulb but requires the new Lepro app.
I have used Lepro bulbs for a while and they have always been good quality and not prone to failing like some brands. This bulb is no different in that respect and is capable of providing whatever level of light you want.However whereas all my other Lepro smart lighting would work with the Smartlife App these new bulbs from Lepro require the use of their proprietary App and the App does not seem to be backward compatible with my older lighting – when I say older I mean bought just before Christmas 2024.The new app is easy to use – it discovered the bulb straightaway and once lepro is enabled in Alexa you can control it with her. The reason for the new app is their AI function which can generate lighting themes according to mood, from pictures or even from a voice description. I think that part of it is a little over the top for a single bulb but if I was to invest in Lepro AI bulbs and lighting then I think it could produce some interesting effects . For now I will carry on with my older bulbs and lighting as the cost of upgrading is expensive and some of my bulbs are not currently available as AI versions (GU10 for example).The bulb can also be set to respond to sound and the microphone pickup is very reactive and sensitve – more so than other brands I have tried. Again the sensitivity is controllable from within the app.There are also colour wheels within the App both for RGB and White. The white allows me to pick a warmth level of light to suit my mood and is very adaptable. The RGB colours are also very good and strong.The light bulb is capable of very bright lighting but it is also dimmable to fit the occasion.For the bulb i think a 5* rating would be appropriate but because it needs yet another App and that app is not backwardly compatible with my existing Lepro lights I give it an overall 4*

Good light output but I struggled to connect it to my WiFi
Currently priced at a penny under £10 I think that this is a decent smart bulb. It fits in to a standard UK bayonet fitting and is very similar in size to a “standard” bulb, which can be important for some fittings.Light output is good. A very good range of brightness levels available and some very vivid colours. There is no flicker that I could detect. It responds quickly to the app and my home assistant (Amazon Echo). The schedules are a bit of a faff to set up compared to other devices or apps but work okay.I had quite a bit of trouble connecting this to my WiFi network. I installed the app, created an account and within a short amount of time had connected via bluetooth. However for full functionality you need WiFi so here is where the games started. I am used to connecting smart devices but even my usual tricks of turning off 5 GHz Wifi and trying different network names didn’t work. After about half an hour I was ready to give up when it finally decided to connect. Since then it has worked flawlessly. It also connected quickly to my Amazon Echo once I had the WiFi sorted.So I am giving this 4 stars. I like the light output and features but I don’t like having to set up an account on a dedicated app, and the struggle to connect it to WiFi almost led me to throwing it away.

Bright, Smart and Easy To Control
This is a nice, bright smart bulb, perfect even with a shade that blocks some light. I mostly use the white lighting modes, which work great and really light up the room. The app is reliable and the option to dim it from your phone in bed is a really nice touch. Havenât tried Alexa integration yet, but so far Iâm impressed. Great for parties too with the colour options and music sync feature!
