Moreover, the bulbs are bright, offer good color variation, and provide value for money. Most reliable smart switch
I’ve tried a few different smart buttons and none of them has worked reliably. This one is different! Everything works, reliably and with multiple scenes and light groups. I’ve even replaced my existing dumb switch completely ( permanently wired ‘on’) and purchased more switches and bulbs. Looking forward to this range of products being extended so I can add more devices. Great value too!

    Totally and utterly unreliable
Totally and utterly unreliable. The bulbs themselves work ok but from a home automation standpoint they are utter rubbish. They consistently just stop working with Alexa, Google Home and even their own Broadlink app. They will usually work if you want to control with Bluetooth but over WiFi via their included hub for true automation, sunrise, sunset, etc, is a total disaster. You can create scenes in the Broadlink app but that only specifies their On state condition and colour e.g. 40% at 2700k warm light. Unlike my TP Link Tapo bulbs, there is no trigger condition e.g. turn them on at Sunset. That wouldn’t really matter if they worked with Alexa or Google Home but …… they’ll work for a while then stop. I have all three in one room and it’s anybody’s guess how many will actually turn on. Even if they come on, it doesn’t mean you can rely on any or all going off at midnight when I have them set to. You re-configure, re-Alexa, re-Google or any combination and they start working at some point then it just all happens again. I’m assuming it’s the Broadlink skills that are at fault but I can’t do anything about that. At one point they suddenly started turning on Blue even though I had never changed their colour from white. I could only correct that by doing a total reset in their app and Alexa/Home. I have never had this problem with TP-Link Tapo bulbs in 4 years (they only stop if WiFi is down at the point Alexa would run a routine). The Tapo app also has an away from home mode for bulbs that will randomly turn the lights on and off as if you’re moving from room to room which I quite like. So, I’ve given up and now have them plugged into a couple of left over Tapo smart plugs so at least I can get the home automation working again (Tapo smart plugs have always worked great for me). It’s yet another example of the dream of home automation still so painful due the shoddy quality of software integration rampant throughout the industry. It’s really pathetic. Let’s not leave Amazon out of this though as the Alexa app has to be one of the worst designed apps ever created. They wrote down everything they wanted the app to do on pieces of paper, threw them up in the air and then laid the app out in the order the pieces landed. Arghhhhhhhhhhh!Always end on a positive: The bulb light quality and control over colour and temperature is very good. You just have to accept it will do it whenever it feels like it.

    It’s ok but needs improvements
Right the set up for the bulbs is simple enough. Alexa set up is also simple enough. At this basic level it’s fine. bulbs are sufficiently bright, say for bedrooms. So I added the 4 way switch and had a play. I managed to press a toggle on the switch and turn a bulb on. But here is where the software needs to do better. Looking at the app and the Alexa app the change of state is not reported. I wasted timing testing the scene process because the bulb in question was upstairs and I was coding in the living room. Nothing i could do using the switch would be shown in either APP. So I went upstairs and discovered I had in fact configured correctly and managed to turn a bulb on using one of the toggles on the switch(there 4 available). So how then do you turn it off. Well you have to use another switch toggle to turn off a bulb when you press a different button. Really? It clearly needs actional functionality , how about double tap to increase the number of routines you can run.Another issue is Alexa. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a trigger available for when a device changed state(off/on). I use HE automation and it’s a real pain getting Alexa devices into HE, but this is another story for another day.A couple of minor negatives. There isn’t a battery for the switch and it appears the only way to mount the switch to a wall is to use double side tape which they don’t provide. In summary I think product has been rushed to market too soon but on the positive side it shows great potential and I look forward for future software updates.

Great kit and good value. Very easy to set up.
Lights all work great and the switches work well. They get nice and bright and have good colour variation. They can be programmable on the broadlink app with various options, including dinning if you 0ress and hold. I couldn’t get them to do things like trigger routines on Alexa which is a shame. The lights can be triggered through Alexa though. Set up was super easy. Reminder that you need batteries for the switch buttons. Hub works fine. Very small which is a good.

    Closed ecosystem
I was hoping to integrate these into my home automation system using home assistant. The included hub is cloud only, I managed to spot an unencrypted api running on the hub but couldn’t be bothered to poke into it with no instructions for the sake of doing a simple task that most bulbs can do out of the box.The bulbs are bright, the colours are a bit off as stated by others. The included remote has no batteries (they’re a weird size too) and requires sticking down with double sided tape. All in all, they’re no different to the cheapo bulbs that come with the small Chinese remotes, the only additional feature they have is a terrible cloud app and the ability to group bulbs.Returning and replacing with wiz bulbs as they seem to integrate well with most things and seem reasonably reliable.

No funcionan . Se comió dos pilas el mando interruptor sin funcionar. Alexa no lo reconoce y el soporte de esta marca dejó de funcionar antes de recibir el producto.Un despropósito

This set is great value for money and I was happily surprised the button can be used with the bulbs without the hub!The hub is only needed to connect online (to Alexa) and this can be finicky. It would not maintain wifi connection to my main access point for more than a few hours but connecting to an older router worked fine.

Ana broadlink uygulaması ile eşleştiriliyor sanıyordum, yan uygulama indirmek gerekiyormuş. Alma sebebim tüm broadlink sisteminin aynı uygulamadan kontrol edilebilmesiydi. Galiba iade edeceğim.

Edit: customer support told me that the new Fastcon Broadlink app is required. I’ll be checking it.I’m not sure, how to contact the seller, so please get back to me, or I’ll have to return the product. The Broadlink app has only “S3” gateway, and not G4WC, which is the part of this package. How do I connect this to the app?As of now this doesn’t work at all.
