A great HomeKit compatible light to add a warm glow
These are lovely lights that give off a warm glow (or colour if you wish). Its more for atmosphere than task lighting but they certainly create a cosy mood. Come summer I’ll looking forward to taking them off their charging stands to light up the outside a little.

Really nice lights
Hard to put my finger on it, but these lights just feel magic. Super lightweight, perfectly even glow. Good battery life. The colours in the home app donât quite match what it displays, and even at the lowest setting they are quite bright. Thatâs why only 4 stars. But I love them. The preset colours are really tasteful. Recommended

This is a pointless gimmick that also doesnât work reliably with HomeKit
Bought and then returned. Perhaps it was a rogue item but it did not work with app and was extremely unreliable. My reservations, though, are about its efficiency as a lamp. It is not a light source – it is a rather pointless dull glowing plastic orb that perhaps creates some meaningless ambiance but has no practical use whatsoever. I see little use for this gimmick.

Fun but dreadful battery life
Have to keep charging frequently to use the cordless functionality. Just a bit too annoying. Itâs also a bit too big for the living space.

Misleading product photos
What the photos donât show you is that the âballâ is actually two halves that have been badly glued together. The finish on the seam is noticeable from a distance and affects the brightness of the light it lets through. The two halves donât even line up properly, so thereâs a ridge where they meet. Very disappointing for a product this price. Iâm returning it for a refund.

Wir haben uns bereits zwei Flare Lampen gekauft. Eine der ersten (ohne Thread Technologie) und eine der zweiten Generation. Der einzige Unterschied, der uns aufgefallen ist, ist der, dass die Leuchte der ersten Generation (ohne Thread Technologie) wenige Sekunden zeitverzögert auf Befehle reagiert. Ansonsten sind wir mit beiden Produkten seht zufrieden. Wie bei allen anderen EVE Produkten, ist es von Vorteil, wenn man ein Apple User ist. Bei uns ist alles über das Apple TV Gerät gesteuert.1. Installation: Wie bei unseren anderen EVE Produkten ist die Installation komplett problemlos. Einfach per Kamera den Code scannen, Raum bestimmen, Namen vergeben und schon ist die Leuchte mit der EVE App und mit Apple Home bedienbar.2. Verarbeitung: Die Leuchte ist robust verarbeitet und hält auch leichtem Sprühregen stand. Die Dichtigkeit bei stärkerem Regen kann ich nicht beurteilen, wir haben beim Verlassen unserer Terrasse die Leuchte auch mit rein genommen.3. Dauer: Die Leuchtdauer bei leicht gedämmten Licht (50-70%) beträgt mind. 6 Stunden.Fazit: Die Leuchten sind ein echter Hingucker, einfach zu bedienen und machen ein schönes Licht. Wir nutzen die Leuchten regelmäÃig auch auf der Terasse oder als âvirtuellen Bewohnerâ in verschiedenen Räumen, wenn wir mal nicht da sind.
