Basic camera
Basic camera with phone like features, nothing special about it. Got it for my daughter for a school project but I wish it had some sort off strap or drop protection

Inaepeak 4K 64MP Kids Camera: More Fun Than Functionality
The Inaepeak 4K 64MP digital camera offers a simple, compact design which is quite appealing for young budding photographers. It comes with a 64MP image resolution and 4K video capacity, making it seem like a promising device for basic photography and video recording. The camera is easy to set up and use, featuring a 2.88″ LCD screen, a self-timer, and a variety of filter options that add a fun element to photography. It’s commendable that it includes essential accessories like a 32GB microSD card and a mini tripod, which are convenient for getting started right away. The rechargeable feature via USB is also a nice touch, catering to a young audience who might not have experience with changing batteries. However, the overall performance of this camera leaves much to be desired. The digital zoom is disappointing, reducing image quality significantly, and the camera struggles in low light conditions, producing images with excessive noise. Though it includes an LED light to help with lighting issues, it doesn’t completely counter the lack of detail in dim environments. The build quality feels cheap, with plastics that may not withstand rough handling, which is a concern for a product marketed towards children. Furthermore, while it is marketed as a beginner’s camera, older children might not find it engaging enough given its limited features compared to even a basic smartphone. At £40-50, I find it overpriced considering its limitations and believe one could find a second-hand camera from a reputable brand offering better quality at a similar cost.

Decent first camera for children
Considering the relatively low price this beginner’s camera is fairly decent. Everything required is in the box including a 32GB microSD card, a mini tripod, wrist strap and USB cable. Unlike some of the very cheap childrenâs cameras available this model boasts a flash which is useful for indoor photography. The 18x zoom is digital only, with the associated drop in picture quality the further you zoom in. The screen is not very high resolution and quite small but adequate for a camera which is most likely to be used by young children. The same is true of the plastics used in the camera body, clearly quite cheap but serve the purpose. Iâm not sure how long lived this camera will be if abused, for instance I donât think it would survive much of a drop onto something hard, so probably good that a lanyard/wrist strap is included. Photo and video quality is okay but if your children become interested in photography after using this you will soon want to move on to something more serious.Priced at £40 (£50 with 20% voucher) at time of review this is a little more expensive than the very basic cheapest alternatives but the specs are slightly better. Personally Iâd only really recommend this for younger children as a far better quality and specâed proper digital camera from a major brand can be picked up second hand for a similar price.

Image quality is poor; but the Len’s view of the world could make for a fun art project
This Inaepeakâs compact digital camera comes with a 64megapixel sensor that sits behind a fixed focus 18mm lens. The camera is very easy to use; it has menus that show things in English. The camera can be used to shoot stills, video and be used as a webcam. The lens has auto-focus; that is triggered when you press the shutter; it doesnât have a zoom lens. It does have digital zoom, where it crops in on the image. I have included a few samples of this on my review; the faceted look is fun, but it stops being a photo.Photos in a bright place without using the zoom have a pleasant polaroid style. There can be a lot of colour fringing if the sun is in the frame, you can also get flaring in the lens. When you give it enough time to focus the images are sharp though, the letters on the Leicester market image are crisp. Though the frame has a lot of purple around it that isnât there. In low light the images have a LOT of noise that takes away a lot of detail in the darker places. It does have an LED light you can turn on to counter some of this.It does a decent job on video; despite the image stabilisation in the menus, you do need a steady hand to use it. The output video files are small but have reasonable colour. Unlike an action camera the image isnât rounded like fisheye lines stay straight. The sensor is something you might find in a phone; only it doesnât have the photo processing that a phone brings. That does give you an interesting look. Itâs billed as a Kids camera but doesnât have any drop protection. Itâs not a camera to document your life as the image quality isn’t the best; but could be a fun art project; especially when you use the digital zoom.

Basic
In photography terms, this is your five year old smartphone camera. Then take away the digital processing, most of the filters, the automatic cloud upload, the large screen and the low light abilities and you get this. No drop protection and fiddly controls. The quality and features suit younger children, but the easy of us isn’t these. Old children will have, at the very least, a hand-me-down smartphone for games and photography.So…. not worth buying.
