Does the trick! Used mine on a firestick to take a bunch of TV shows with us to watch of an evening when we went away. Works brilliantly. The firestick usb jack is on the side which means, when this is plugged in, the whole thing is quite bulky so need to ensure there’s space around the hdmi port. A mild niggle considering how easy this is to use — just plug and play.

Faulty, Poor quality and NO QA it seems
Frustrated with poor quality and faulty USB connectors I purchased a USB tester.Its saved a lot of headaches, especially USB 2.0 OTG cables and plugs.Is it to much trouble for the suppliers to test ? They are making quite a margin on these.I am starting to question any purchase from amazon market place.

Sorry to say either this adapter didnât work or the Samsung 64 gig flash drives are all defectiveâ¦.. tried 2 different Flash drives- the Firesticks formatted them and didnât recognize them after. It would be nice to add memory, but none of this add on junk works ( my opinion). Smart thingâ¦. Just donât try. If Amazon builds Fire Sticks with more memory- great! If not, might as well not even try to add it yourself. This adding memory stuff is a waste of time and money. Iâve lost my patience with all of these guys who even suggest it can be done! I think they make it up to sell adapters, thumb drives and whatever! ( my opinion). If the Firestick was meant to have more memory, it would have it already. Do yourself a favor, save your time and money.

1 adapter was Dead on Arrival the other only allowed you to see the storage to move apps to it but not to create a file using an explorer app. Rendering it useless. Purchased to add storage to 4k max firestick.
