Future-Proof Storage
Bought this for my GoPro Hero 10, and wowâhandles 5.3K video without a hiccup. The 512GB holds weeks of footage, and the U3 speed ensures no dropped frames. Even tested it in -10°C skiing; performance didnât dip. The A2 rating makes app/game installations on my phone snappier. The 2021 version feels more robust than older models. A tad expensive, but for prosumers needing endurance and speed, itâs unbeatable. Samsung includes a decent warranty too. Highly recommend!

I own a Valve Steam Deck and this is a really useful solution to the low storage on the device.
Hello gents,I have owned this SD Card for roughly 5 months now, it’s seen almost daily usage and is still chugging along just fine. The actual performance on this is MORE than enough for most PC games. I have intense games like RDR2, GTA V and so on this. And, although you will get long loading screens and the odd texture pop-in. It performs wellIt actually outperforms my old Hard Drive. So I’m impressed! If you’re into emulation, have Steam Deck, ROG handheld or Lenovo Legion and need a fast, cheap and reliable SD card for storage then this is a good option.5/5, I might be buying another one of these.

Installed, formatted, works
Does exactly what I expected. Using it as extended storage in my phone. Works well, don’t even need to think about it.

Works fine
You actually have 477gb available, not sure where the rest of the data has gone.

Mine was genuine.
Because we’ve all hear the horror stories about fake Samsung, SanDisk, and Lexar micro SD cards ending up in the supply chain of even trusted retailers, the minute this card arrived I scanned it with “RMPrepUSB” to get a general idea of if it was genuine, then scanned it again with “h2testw” to check that the size it was showing was indeed true. It passed both tests without issue (The 2 pieces of software mentioned are freeware BTW. H2testw isn’t exactly quick, but it’s pretty thorough). The transfer speed I’ve seen so far is a totally stable 38mb/s. Not as quick as advertised, but not exactly slow, and with no stalling or dropping off of that speed at any point.A useful fact to remember here is that the data transfer speeds manufacturers quote are often the PERFECT case scenario (And it’s sometimes only ever a theoretical maximum) that the hardware can achieve if everything is setup purely to attain the highest data transfer speeds possible. In the real world, with a pc that’s got a few dozen background processes running, antivirus software scanning the files being transfer, USB bandwidth being hogged by other devices, plus a hundred and one suboptimal settings, it’s rare to get right up to this “Maximum data rate”.If you’re really in a hurry to shuffle big files around on SD cards, you can usually get a noticeable speed boost by turning off your antivirus and changing “Quick removal” to “Better performance” in the device removal properties policies, but both of those options increase the risk of bad things happening, so it’s all down to whether or not you feel the risk of data corruption is worth the potential saved time.Anyway, this cards destined for my last gen Samsung phone, so I doubt it’s going to be the bottleneck in any future file transfers I ask it to do. 😀

An excellent product. Transfers done quickly, but felt a bit expensive for that price.

Brilliant but why the great price increase????
I bought this in October 2023 and am TOTALLY DELIGHTED with it and decided to buy another one (for my son) in January 2024.My ONLY complaint is that I paid £26.99 in October and had to pay £33 in January!!!!!!!!Apart from a very high price increase (sadly), the card is FIRST CLASS and even at it’s “new” price, it’s still great value – very great value when you consider that one can store more than a QUARTER OF A MILLION 2mb photos on it (of course, less when using higher resolutions and taking videos). Finally, just beware of the many “unknown” named cards of this size (and even of 1tb) that one can find for very low prices (I have seen them for less than £8!!!!!!) on other sites (no names now but they’re very well known!!!) as, from personal experience, they are NOT worth “a penny” unless you’re totally prepared to LOSE many photos when least expected!!As they say – if it looks cheap, it normally is!!!!!

Ich benutze die Speicherkarte in einer Viofo Dashcam, und trotz groÃer Wärmeentwicklung, gerade im Sommer in der prallen Sonne, funktioniert alles problemlos.
