When you need top-tier performance and are willing to pay for it
This is quite the unit. Solid, uncompromisingly-built, incredible specifications and silent. Thunderbolt 5 and USB 4 don’t have a lot of uptake at the moment, but they will and this can already handle them. It comes at a price, but if you are after leading-edge tech, you’re probably prepared to pay for it.This takes a Thunderbolt connection and parcels it out to various USB ports. So you can carry 8K video over USB, carry Ethernet and get full power charging for high-draw devices. And it does all that flawlessly. Thunderbolt and USB have come on to the point where they carries video signals without altering them, effectively doing a pass-through. And it’s the same with everything else. That’s why a single connection can carry everything from your computer and split it at this unit. The build quality is excellent. It’s obvious this is a top of the line unit. It looks quiet and understated. And it’s silent. If there’s a fan in there, I couldn’t hear it.The only downside is the selection of ports. I was pleased to see a headphone port, which I was not expecting. But I was disappointed that there are no HDMI of DisplayPort sockets. Sure, I can carry those over USB and add an adaptor, but was it really not possible to include at least one HDMI to make life easier? And it’s for those little things that I’ll knock a star off.But if you’re in the market for a cutting-edge Thunderbolt hub, this is amazing. It does its job and just plain works. No drivers, no hassles, you’re just up and away and never have to think about it again.

    Beast in a box
I’ve been using this docking station with both my MacBook Pro and a Windows laptop, and it’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it so far. Plugging in two 6K displays worked without a hitch, and the transfer speed really does feel snappy—I moved a chunky batch of video files to an external SSD in no time. Having that many Thunderbolt 5 ports is a treat when working with high-spec gear. The 140W charging was enough to power my laptop while running an external drive, webcam, and a few other bits without any slowdown. It definitely cleared up the mess of separate cables I had before. The 2.5Gbps Ethernet made large file uploads feel noticeably quicker, especially when sending video files to cloud storage. The only hiccup was fitting it into my limited desk space—it’s slightly larger than I expected—but the performance more than makes up for that.

    Overpriced for the features.
I was excited to try this thunderbolt 5 dock, but was meet with some disappointment on the first day when I could not use it. Unfortunately, I did not realise as my current dock has it, there is no HDMI output! I needed to get a USB-C to HDMI cable before I could even think about using it. Several days later my cable finally arrived, and I was able to use it.It connected to my monitor without issue, and it pushed the 4k signal from my MacBook perfectly, and my Windows work laptop. The rear USB-A sockets worked perfectly for connecting the dongles for my keyboard and mouse. It was slightly disappointing for this price that the ethernet port is only 2.5 gigabit, when my NAS is 10 gigabits, along with my switch, but it did transfer files as full speed expected. The connection to my laptop was perfect and charged lovely and quick. The other USB-C ports worked exactly as intended, with good fast speed transfers. One thing that is slightly frustrating is the external power brick, it is a shame that this has not been engineered to be inside the dock, which is already large. It is designed with the larger bottom feet and the logo facing an upright position, when the unit is not exactly stable in this position. The power button cannot be pressed without holding the dock, or it pushes backwards, I feel this is a bit of a design oversight. The copper heat fins are necessary for cooling would have looked way better if they had a cover.Overall I think it is overpriced for the features.

    Tidy desk, thunderbolt fast ⚡
The Revodok Max 2131 is a serious bit of kit for anyone who’s tired of juggling dongles, converters, and port extenders like a caffeinated magician. With **13 ports**, including four Thunderbolt 5 connections and **120Gbps transfer speeds**, it’s built for people who deal in heavy files and high-res displays. Whether you’re editing 8K footage or just want your Zoom calls to stop freezing mid-eye-roll, this dock packs the punch to keep your workspace running smooth and sharp. The first time I plugged this in, I half expected my desk to launch into orbit. Instantly, my monitor lit up with crystal clarity, external drives mounted like clockwork, and my laptop started charging like it’d just found true love. I transferred a 20GB project folder in less time than it took to sip my tea (which I nearly spilled from excitement). It even kept my internet rock-solid during a client pitch where buffering would’ve been career suicide. Also, bonus points for decluttering my cable jungle, now my desk looks like it belongs to a functioning adult. This Thunderbolt 5 Dock is priced quite high due to its advanced features and professional-grade specifications.Quite simply, when he very best counts, it’s worth it, so, it still represents good value. If you’re a multitasking maniac or a digital hoarder with a love for speed, this dock delivers in spades. 🚀💼Highly recommend for professionals and power users tired of tech tantrums. Just mind the tea. ☕⚡
