AA Energy Efficiency
The THR092 programmable radiator head has received the highest AA energy efficiency label awarded by eu.bin. Wireless programmable radiator heads communicate directly with the evohome multi-zone programmable room thermostat through 868MHz bi-directional communication.
The THR092 head has a tilting backlit display for optimal reading. The adjustment dial allows you to manually adjust the room temperature without changing the recorded schedule. The “Open Window” function saves even more money: if the temperature drops suddenly, the valve closes to avoid unnecessary energy costs.
If the radiator valve is inaccessible or covered, it is possible to add a T87RF2041 wireless thermostat which will work as a temperature probe while the valve will act as an actuator
Easy to install
Thermostatic heads fit on most thermostatic valves on the market with or without adapters. There is no need to empty the installation.

Brilliant for a smart home
Returned as it turned out I didn’t need a replacement after all, but as I have a full house Honeywell installation and have been using these for several years now, I can attest to their quality. They perform brilliantly, using their own proprietary radio system for communication rather than wi-fi, and the difference the whole system makes to the comfort of the home throughout the day, plus saving on gas and ability to control from anywhere you have an internet connection makes it a brilliant investment.

I bought this to replace a lightwverf radiator valve which had had a battery leak.Connected to Lightwave with no issues and has worked well.It is quieter and looks better.The one issue is the physical installation instructions was not over clear, so took me awhile to figure out how to but eventually got it to fit.

Not an easy fit
While there are a lot of options with this radiator controller, they do not make it easy to understand how to fit them..While I can usually work these things out, what I have got fitted is not working as anticipated.While cheeper than Hive, I am not as convinced that they are a good fit for me. Will be sending back

Seems like a pretty good bit of kit
I have 4 HR92’s on a ( delayed ) order but I got a HR91 from a plumbers merchant since I needed one of these for a physically tight installation.Removing the Danfoss RAS-C TRV was a bit of a faff only because the installer seemed to have torqued the connection bush near to breaking point.Having removed the TRV, installation was OK but it took me a few attempts to work out what bits I needed and what to do to mount the unit. Probably utube vids on this. NB the actual connector has to be freed from the base of the TRV – all completely obvious when you have sussed it out and worked out what the IKEA type diagrams actually mean.Only had this operating for a few hours but it seems to work OK. You can manually ( using the two front buttons ) fully open or fully close the valve ( or set it to an intermediate point ).I have it linked to a lightwaveRF LInk L2 hub at the moment – mostly because I have got one.Note: I found that when first paired/bound with the LWRF L2, the battery level and valve state were at zero. Just take out the batteries and reinsert – this seems to sort that bug.All in all pleased so far.Edit: first TRV took about 30 mins to install, second 5 mins, 3rd all done in 2 minsNB I have NOT had a reported problem with the HR91 in that it will not wind the base valve stem fully in or fully out with some Danfoss valves.I wonder if you can use Lithium batterries in it instead of NiMH – to give a longer battery life ?

Not good for the momey
I bought these to control the temperature in each room.. They are not good at reading temperature or some are faulty can’t work out which. Currently says it 22c in front room yet it freezing and have had to set thermostat to 24 just to get it to come on. Have spent the last few weeks adjusting temperatures way above normal just to get the radiators to come on. For the money not worth it.

You Don’t Receive What’s In The Bundle – Keep Away
The advertised bundle purchased consisted of1x evohome Thermostat1x linked Boiler Relay2x THR091 Rad Controllers.Only received the Thermostat & 1x THR091 (ie associated Boiler Relay & 1x THR091 missing)Repeated calls to Customer Services & subsequent replacements failed to rectify. In fact, the cack-handed way the refund’s been organised, it looks like I may not receive what I’m rightfully owed – we’ll see !!

Werkt in combinatie met Evohome en ook de app. Programmeren via de app lukte niet in eerste instantie maar via de Evohome bediening kon je gewoon een dag indeling programmeren. Toen die er eenmaal in zat kon je ook via de app deze thermostaat programmeren.
