Broke after 5 months
Tablet worked great. My toddler really enjoyed it but after less then 5 months it has started stalling and cutting out unprompted. This was a Christmas gift for my son and has not lasted. I had seen other review saying that this had happened with theirs but ignored it. It cost alot of money and I’m extremely disappointed as we cannot afford to replace it.

Very good Ipad
Before, i did not like the idea of giving a Ipad to a child . However, I changed my mind after my friend bought an Ipad for my daughter. She really loves it and uses it to take pictures wverywhere she goes in tje weekends and holidays. It is easy to carry and stores precious memories of us as a family. She created a family album with beautiful music. This has significantly improved her creativity, pleasure and confidence. The Ipad us affordable and easy to use.

Not so great tablet
Only had this tablet since Christmas and hasn’t really been used much as far to frustrating constantly turning off and freezing . Should of returned but missed deadline . Would not recommend . The actual case it comes with however is great for holding a tablet safe , it’s spongey soft with a great little handle just wish actual tablet was better .Although a low rating for tablet it’s definitely a 5 star for this company, after contacting them about the problem they have gone above and beyond to help , I’m so grateful , they were so easy to communicate with, so friendly and helpful thank you so much again.

Smart looking, mid-range performance for a budget price
I was pretty nervous about taking the plunge with this tablet. I used many Android tablets over the years and some of the budget ones were terrible, but a couple have also impressed. I have used quite a few tablets over the years and several are still in use. I recently bought my daughter a Microsoft Surface Go 2 for her college work and I really like the form-factor of a tablet with keyboard cover. Itâs no replacement for my high-spec laptop, but such a set up is great for on-the-move usage and I wanted to see if this could be a useful stand-in for my work laptop when Iâm wanting to travel light.Iâve never heard of CWOWDEFU, and a quick Google doesnât bring much up. I suspect this is a generic build tablet but Iâve spent a day trying to push it to the limit to see if it’s any good. And, thankfully â it is, it worked as I expected a mid-spec tablet to work. Iâve summarised the Pros and Cons, and then broken down my review into different key areas and tried to focus on the technical aspects seeing as there is not a lot of information available.Pros:- Spec is decent, itâs not high end but far from low end. This competes well with my top end tablets from a couple of years ago.- Keyboard is fantastic, plugs directly into the tablet so does not require separate power and sync. And itâs included.- Has GPS, not a lot of tablets have this and some apps require it â for example; Pokémon Go- Microsoft Teams works brilliantly, including company portal secure access. This means I can access work documents, comms, teams chat, etc- Micro SD Card Slot for expandable storage- SIM Card slot is great for those who maybe want to put an data SIM and not have to rely on Wi-Fi (this is actual Dual SIM).- Build quality feels solid, this is a metal chassis, not a cheap plastic one- Screen looks vibrant and bright, clarity seems very good.- Charges using USB-C, which is a common charge cable (most Android devices, already use this)- This looks lovely, it would be easy to confuse this at first glance for a more expensive Windows Surface tablet (see comparison photos)Cons:This is a great tablet for the price, my only niggles are (and more details are provided in this review):- Advertised Octa Core spec is not correct. It is Octa Core but the chipset is slightly different to those mentioned in the Amazon listing. However, the included manual has this listed correctly (page 26 gives technical details). This just requires a tweak in the listing.- Cannot stream in HD. This is a shame because the screen is nice, but I understand why this is, I believe the required DRM spec to stream in HD is a hardware rather than software limitation, and therefore would push the cost up- Box and Manual contain some poor English translations and typos. For example, the box has a header referring to âSlime Designâ â this probably ought to be âSlim Designâ. The manual is actually pretty entertaining, especially when referring to âfresh palm internet entertainment timeâ â I think we all know what that means!- Audio quality not great, but itâs acceptable.- Screen flicker when battery drops to low levels (although some may see this an a visual cue to charge it!)And hereâs a more detailed breakdownâ¦BUILD:Itâs metal, so it feels reassuringly solid and helps to cool down the processor and other internals if itâs used for long periods of time, or if the processor is under strain. The Keyboard is impressive, I was worried it might be a bluetooth keyboard which required separate charging, housed in a case, but instead, the case has a hard shell for the tablet to click into with dedicated metal spring contacts to link to the keyboard. This is excellent, the keyboard doesnât require separate charging, it takes its charge directly from the tablet and no syncing is required, just click the tablet in and itâs ready to go! Once in the case it is not easy to get out, but I intend on leaving it in anyway.I have uploaded photos of the tablet (case only, case with tablet, some shots of the box and instructions, and also some side-by-side photos with a Microsoft Surface Go 2 with typecover keyboard so you can compare how it looks).NOTE: the comparison with the Surface Go 2 is purely to get an idea of how this looks alongside something more familiar, the two tablets are very different and run different operating Systems, the comparison is visual only. The Android Tablet is on the left!DISPLAY:The description refers to this as âEdge to Edgeâ display. This is not quite accurate, Edge to Edge implies there is little or no bezel, there is a bezel on here but it is not particularly thick and is similar to other major tablet manufactures (itâs certainly no thicker than the Samsung A7 or Amazon Fire tablets). The screen looks bright and resolution is perfectly fine. The IPS display is a good upgrade from my old tablet. The touchscreen is responsive and accurate with no obvious lag to presses and swipes. Note, this tablet will only play streaming services such as Netflix in Standard Definition. In order for devices to play High Definition they must support a DRM protocol called Widevine L1, this tablet doesnât support Widevine L1 (only Widevine L3). If you intend to use the tablet for heavy streaming usage, this might not be the best choice as the drop to SD from HD is noticeable for some (it is to me). For the odd bit of watching itâs not really a problem, but if watching streamed video such as sport or movies was your aim then this wonât provide you a HD experience.PROCESSOR/RAM SPEC:This is advertised as an Octa Core processor (2X 1.8Ghz + 6X 1.6GHz). Iâve ran diagnostics and can confirm the chipset (UNISOC SC9863A) is Octa Core, but is actually 4X 1.6GHz + 4X 1.2GHz, which isnât as fast as the ones in the product description. Itâs not poor, they are the standard set you tend to find in budget off-brand smartphones, but it isnât what is listed in the product description. The advertised 4GB RAM is correct (there are still a lot of 2GB and 3GB RAM tablets out there).Processors and RAM are specs geeks like me love to look at, but might not mean much to a lot of folk. If you want a quick and probably overly-summarised overview then here it is:RAM: (Random Access Memory) is temporary (short term) memory. When you power down your device this is wiped. Itâs basically the information your device needs right now to perform. More RAM means more your device can access the information it needs right now and doesnât have to wait. If you are running several tasks at once (or very complex tasks) then you need more RAM or things will start to run very slow. 4GB RAM is now seen as the minimum amount a tablet should have but it was only a few years a go that a 4GB Tablet would have been at the Premium end of the scale.Processor: About 5 years ago Octa-core replaced Quad-core as the standard for smartphones and tablets. The term itself isnât a guarantee of great performance and one of the main aims of such tech is actually to preserve battery life rather than just a performance boost. The processing power is spread across 8 cores so that the device isnât constantly powering a mega processor. This analogy is flawed but sums it up fairly well:Imagine instead of having a massive brain requiring lots of power, the device has 8 smaller brains. If a lot of thinking is required then all 8 brains will use a lot of power, but if youâre just checking your email or scrolling through Facebook â then you might just need to use a few brains, so some can take a rest and therefore less power is required. This is one of the reasons that Smartphone batteries last a lot longer now. If youâre playing a game or performing a task which requires a lot of processor power, then obviously your battery may only last a few hours. But chances are youâre not doing that most of the time, in which case your smart device can distribute the power to only the processor âcoresâ which are needed to perform the task and save battery life.PERFORMANCE:The processor and RAM of this Tablet is quite comparable to the Premium Android tablets of 2018, (itâs not dissimilar spec to the Samsung TAB S4) with the processor a bit slower than the current Samsung Line-up. I have 2 Android tablets from 2015 and 2016 which are running well today and they are considerably lower spec to this, so this is a marked upgrade on those. The truth is that Tablet performance for casual users has plateaued. There will be incremental improvements but the way tablets are used in 2021 is pretty much the same as they were in 2011; internet browsing, social media, checking emails and streaming media. So the top end of yesteryear has become the âstandardâ of today, in terms of specs. The main problem with older tablets often isnât performance but is with obsolescence of software as newer operating systems are introduced and older ones not updated. That isnât an issue here as this runs Android 10 which (at the time of writing this) is the most commonly used version of Android, so there should be no issues in terms of software compatibility for some years. This runs naked Android too. Pure Android. Unlike major smartphone and tablet manufacturers who like to have their own overlay on, this runs base Android. That, for me, is a bonus â it means you donât have a secondary user interface or layer on top of Android, they take up RAM and can be quite messy (for example, my Samsung smart devices have 2 lots of many apps, the Google (Android) version, and the Samsung version).I set this Tablet up with the apps I usually use (the usual suite of Social Media apps, Prime Video, Netflix, NowTV) along with some graphics editing apps and some basic games. It worked perfectly fine. I also signed in to Microsoft Teams and was able to access and edit my work email and documents.Iâve tried to push the tablet too by running games which require considerable grunt such as âGenshin Impactâ and â Pokémon Goâ (which is more device intensive than you might think!). Pokémon Go played fine but the tablet struggled with Genshin Impact (it was jerky and not very responsive). This is expected however, Genshin Impact is a demanding game and most tablets would struggle with it, Iâd have been more surprised if it *had* have worked!Audio-wise, the sounds is pretty flat and not as high quality as the Huawei Media tablets or the Surface Go range. Itâs serviceable and if youâre not really using it for media then it wonât be an issue at all.The battery seems fine, I got about 8 hours of continuous use from it which I was impressed with considering I had been installing games and deliberately using apps which draw a lot of power. When the power dropped to 15% the screen began to flicker, but after a charge up it worked fine.In a nutshell:This is referred to as a âlaptop tabletâ â but thatâs because it has a keyboard and once you use the keyboard with it, it does have the feel of a laptop. If you want a machine for editing video, regular photo editing and playing demanding games â this is not the tablet for you. But then again, neither would others that are the same price or considerably higher. For general use (web browsing, streaming media, social networking, light gaming) then this is a perfectly capable tablet. Although Tablets like this donât replace a laptop, they are a great stand-in when needed. I can leave my heavy laptop at home (where it is plugged into various peripherals) and simply take this with me and access my work from the café while I wait to pick the kids up. It might not run as many applications as my high spec laptop, and itâs not a direct replacement â but it is a great temporary stand in. My daughterâs Surface Go 2 is better suited for her for college â but it was also three times the price of this. This is a great device for homework or for someone who wants to be able to go online and access the usual apps. You can put a SIM card in it, but Iâve opted to just use my mobile Wi-Fi device or my Smartphoneâs hotspot. Having used budget tablets which were completely unusable, it was great to use one which is easily as good as the expensive tablets I purchased 2 Christmases ago (and still going strong). At this price bracket, there is a lot of choice out there, if you fancy taking a punt on a no-brand Tablet then this is absolutely worth it. Iâve given this 4 stars but Iâd give it 4.5 stars if I could, my complaints arenât major, but I do watch a lot of streamed content and if this could play it in Hi-Def then I would have been more inclined to give this 5 stars.

Not a great tablet
Tablet keeps freezing and needs to be restarted every time. Not good value for money.
Davesks –
Buttons stiff, case poor
Although it does everything it should, the control buttons are rather stiff and difficult to operate when in the case. It keeps entering a state where the open-chested robot shows when switched on. Cheap but the advantages stop there.
