Cheap and cheerful. Flexible and functional
For the price, this webcam does a solid jobâmore than good enough for work calls. While it doesnât have autofocus, the manual focus ring around the lens is easy to use; once youâve twisted it into place, the picture is sharp and stays that way.What really makes this webcam stand out is the flexible arm. Itâs easy to adjust, and once positioned, it holds firm without sagging or slipping. Unlike my old camera, which only clamped to the top or bottom of the screen (often at an awkward angle), this one attaches to my monitor arm and sits just off to the side at eye levelâperfect for a more natural angle.The USB cable is generous in length and conveniently exits from the bottom of the flexible arm, which helps with cable management.All in all, itâs a decent bit of kit. A few more features like autofocus would be nice, but it definitely gets the job done.

A good basic webcam that is easy to set up and use. Quality isn’t bad and i think this is reflected in the price and image quality is decent enough. Attaches easily and stays securely in place. Does what i need it to.

Looking for a small facecam and don’t want to splash out early on? Want another angle on mini painting or assembly work you’re doing on your desk? This is a decent cheap way to get started with both.I’m not sure I’d want it for anything professional or corporate, but you’ve probably got a bigger budget if you’re going that way.TL:DR – not magic, but it’ll do the job (and let you know if you actually have use for a fancier solution)

Cheap, versatile and simple to use.
This is a fairly simple plug and play webcam, I was able to get it working on my Linux PC easily enough using the Webcamoid app, it really was just a matter of plugging the camera in and firing up the software.The camera is quite small and compact and is mounted on a flexible shaft connected to a heavy duty clamp, there are 3 buttons on the top of the camera 2 are used for adjusting the brightness and the other one flips the image along the horizontal plane, focusing is done manually which isn’t such a bad thing , sometimes auto focus cameras have a habit of focusing on the wrong thing.Image quality is plenty good enough for this type of camera and the wide field of view is a bonus.Overall I have no complaints about this camera, it’s cheap, versatile and simple to set up and use, recommended.

Great for webchats and amateur streaming (facecam only).
This 1080p webcam produces 30fps videos at up to 1920×1080 resolution, more than enough for zoom calls and web-chats. It’s pretty reliable once installed, and comes with a remote.The microphone isn’t very good in office environments, it’s better in a quiet home setting, but still nothing compared to a dedicated mic. For that reason, I’d only recommend it for casual use.for the price, it’s fair.

Works well
I got this because whilst I have a laptop for work, I use two large monitors for my day to day stuff but I had to open my laptop for video callsâ¦which was irritating and meant that my lovely large screens became obscured by my little laptop screen. This camera solves this perfectly! The gooseneck is sturdy and stays put, so I have set this hovering just above the big screens and am a happy bunny.It was easy to set up and functions perfectly. Picture quality is excellent.Good value for money and has improved my work setup.

For the Price You Get All You Need
I have an old Mac tower and a monitor that doesn’t have a built in camera. So, having the opportunity to test the Eye Contact Webcam for desktop computer with Microphone & Stand I was pleasantly surprised with it, and it definitely good value for a simple and functional piece of kit that has a mic built into it and a 1080p webcam that’s quite sharp, up to 1920×1080 resolution with 30fps. Definitely ideal for video calls, playback and FaceTime sessions. The camera is also plug and play, so there’s no messing about trying to install new software on an old operating system. I like it because it functions without frills, and the price range is in budget.Design wise it is a bit boxy but if you want the trimmings of smarter/newer tech, then the price goes up significantly. If like me all you need is a decent camera without the trimmings, this is definitely one to consider.Depending on your use the battery is quite good, but I haven’t had a longish conversation yet so can’t do a comparison with other products.So, if you’r eon a budget, this little bit of budget kit might very well do the job for you.

Great little Websi cam
This is a brilliant little web cam, really excellent quality.I was very surprised by how good this is, and although it is designed to bring eye level to a proper placement during Zooms etc, it works well as a general web cam too.I run a big iMac 27 inch computer and the built in camera is right at the top, so that really shows up when I do a zoom, due to the height of the camera above the centre of the iMac’s screen. This web cams clip is a bit difficult to apply to my iMac, due to the shape of the iMac’s case, but it clips perfectly to the raiser that the iMac is standing on.It has a wider angle than the iMac’s inbuilt camera and I rather liked that, and the image quality was great.I wont use it all the time, but I am glad to have it to be able to use it when I need to… a very good little product.
