You have to load the 1TB Sdd in a usb caddy system first, connect this into your PC by usb and then run the segate clone system (have to download this from segate) from your computer. Once your old hardrive is cloned take it out of your pc, put the clone in it’s place and power up. You’ll be stunned how fast windows loads and how quickly you are ready to work and can work and the cake icing……. it’s so quiet ! Well pleased with the drive -recognised name and reputation (segate have been around a while) and reasonably priced

Mostly good, Unused drives but not Brand New
These drives are no longer produced by Seagate, they went end of life several years ago. I have ordered 4 drives in total so far over the past few months. 3 out of the 4 have been perfectly fine. They’ve all had a manufacture date of around 2017 which means these are not brand new drives. However, 3 of the 4 drives have never been used. You can check this by looking at the disk SMART info in a tool such as CrystalDiskInfo. 3 of the 4 drives all had 0 hours run time and a power on count of 1, indicating they had never been used. Unfortunately the most recent drive I ordered had a power on count of 2 (so once before I powered it on) and 7 hours of run time. This is not really a deal breaker but I had trouble writing to the drive and it sounded unhappy. I suspect this was because it was wrapped in 2 pieces of card and then left loose inside a box alongside a much heavier item so I suspect it was damaged in transit. I have returned this drive for a refund. I would still purchase these drives from this seller. These drives make excellent replacement drives for Xbox One (Original, X and S)

Be careful when ordering the lowest priced item
As with others in the reviews my product was a refurbished HDD – which isn’t clear in the desrciption.Not a a big problem as I only needed it as a back up data drive for a laptop. However the delivered drive did not work. I’m an IT professional with 30 years+ experiance and know how to install, format and mount drivers. Thuis one would not mount despite using two differnt machine and external caddy and other attempts. It would spin up but the PCs could not read the media – it would appear to be a botched NAND memory flash. In short it was defective and has been returned for a refund.

Hallo Amazon-Community !Ihr kennt das ihr habt eine Konsole und die soll eine 500GB Festplatte drine haben. Am Ende darf man nur 380GB nutzen. Und jeder schlaue Fuchs ð¦ unter euch denkt “Aber Maddin wo sind die fehlenden 120 GB hin ?” Antwort: I don’t know. Die Konsole sagt es mir auch nicht. Und somit muss man aufrüsten. Also die hat auch keine 1TB aber man kennt es. Es ist irgendwas mit Einheiten unwichtiges Nerdgespräch hier bitte einfügen. Bis jetzt macht die Festplatte was sie soll. Ich kann ehrlich nichts so gutes oder schlechtes sagen. Ich hab sie in meine PS4 eingebaut und da macht sie ihren Job als Festplatte. Da ich sie noch nicht lange in Gebrauch hab kann ich euch nicht sagen / schreiben wie lange sie gehalten hat. Wer bis hier gelesen hat danke für die Aufmerksamkeit bleibt alle gesund MFG Irgendein Dulli aus den Internet ðð

Sigue saliendo más barato el MB de disco duro fÃsico frente a los de tipo SSD. Obviamente no es tan rápido ni silencioso como los SSD pero para uso de hacer back-ups va de lujo: suficientemente rápido, fiable y silencioso.Lo estoy usando con una carcasa vÃa USB 3.0 y lo he transformado en un disco duro portátil ya que no necesita alimentación externa para funcionar. Lo volverÃa a comprar, por menos de 60 ⬠pocas opciones de similar capacidad hay tan buenas
