Connects a laptop DVD to usb
It does what it says, i had a Blu-ray player from a duff laptop use this cable to connect the player via usb. Worked fine, obviously need to handle with care as internal drives are a bit exposed once removed.

If you have AJA KiPro/KiStor Hard Drive, buy this
This might seem unusual review for the purpose of using this simple esata hdd cable reader.As I work in an industry which has video production equipment, this cable works perfectly with AJA KiPro hard drives. If you have mac this will work out of box, with windows you need a software that reads mac formatted hard drives and then you can use this to transfer. This is alot faster than using the firewire port!

laptop DVD to USB interface cable
This cable works ok for an old laptop DVD, but did not seem to like the laptop blu-ray drive. Most probably an encryption problem,not the cable’s fault.Useful to reuse an old laptop DVD drive ( mini sata )

Does exactly what itâs supposed to do.(TINY criticism: the length of the cable is quite short (about 10 cm?); it could be a LITTLE longer for convenience.)
