XTU J7 video doorbell
Bought this to replace my Ring doorbell, glad I did as XTU J7 video doorbell is miles better with very clear footage and get alerts as they happen, I have the 6 second basic package (which is free) the paid alert packages are cheap but I find the basic just fine .The CloudEdge app is easy to use and has all the functions I need, easy to navigate. the doorbell was easy to set up even if you do it manually. You can view the footage on SD card and is very clear, the night vision is excellent as well.I have my doorbell attached to the XTU solar charger and all works very well and keeps it charged (used the same solar charger for the Ring doorbell and never had to re-charge manually even through the winter months) this has been running for past 3 months and has kept the doorbell fully charged.The chime is easy to set up and uses batteries, works every time, personally I like not having to use a plug socket so am happy to use batteries, would recommend the doorbell and solar charger

Great camera for the money
An excellent video doorbell for the money. Works seemless with the Morecam app and Alexa. The video quality is great and the battery life exceptional when compared to other models. I’ve had mine two months and it’s still hasn’t needed charging. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase

Awesome Doorbell
The door bell looks nice and amazing. It has live video recording function, retrieve save videos and still pictures. You can monitor on your phone even if you’re at work and the app will notify you when you have a guest. The motion detector function works brilliantly.What I find can be improved upon is that the camera often times comes out of the cradle/holder and has to manually be re-inserted because it has only one anti theft screw at the bottom holding it up/fixing it to the holder. The top part needs to be secured to avoid falling down.

Great value for money
Easy set up procedure. Took only 30 minutes to fit by my front door. Wifi connection is straight forward. This is a neat looking unit. The battery is rechargeable and lasts about a week, its easy to connect the charger in situe or can be taken off the wall to do inside. A very good investment at a competitive price. Highly recommended.

Excellent camera, as good as Ring
Excellent doorbell camera. Had mine for 6months now and no issues with it. Very reliable, effectively detects visitors and notifies me instantly via the app, picture quality fantastic. Only requires charging every 3month which is fine. No monthly subscription. Tip: It’s worth buying the angle mount if doorbell doesn’t sit in the middle of door, or if it’s in a corner of a door recess.

Great little doorbell for a really good price! Good camera quality and manages to detect motion with a really impressive range. Brilliant night vision too.Easy to physically install took me about 5 minutes and the setup on the app was a breeze with the ability to add household members to share the footage and settings with without any trouble.Great motion detection and prompt notifications that go to both your phone and a smartwatch if you have one. There is great connectivity in the app so that you can monitor the doorbell from anywhere.The chime is great has different volume settings (and some very funky chime settings if thatâs your groove) and the loudest volume is pretty loud so donât worry about not hearing it across the house!Also love that the doorbell came with two stickers to place on the outside of the property to show that your house is being monitored with a security system, just makes that extra peace of mind.Great customer service from the team themselves when you set up the warranty that it comes with too. Would really recommend this to anyone.

Great…while it worked for the first 6 months
I bought this video doorbell in June 2024. I thought it was great, at first. At first, it was a bit slow to connect when someone rang the doorbell, but for the price, I could live with that. The chime stopped working completely after 6 months, no matter how many times it was charged and changed the batteries. And now less than a year later, it takes so long for the video to load, it’s less than useless. The ONLY way I know there is someone at my door these days, is because my phone buzzes – and even then, there’s quite a delay between someone pushing the doorbell button, and it connecting to my phone. By the time I realise there’s someone at my door, they’re already leaving and walking away. And any visitors at the door, can’t seem to hear my voice when I try to speak to them through the intercom. The only useful function these days is being able to play video back to see who HAS been at my door (and who I’ve missed!) – but playback is so painfully slow, I usually give up – and I have an excellent Wifi/Bluetooth reception where I live. I wish I’d just spent the extra and gone for a better model, which I’m now about to do as this one is useless.

Great functionality, poor battery life, too much pressure to review favourably
I purchased this door camera/bell about a year ago. I cannot fault its functionality and ease of use. It works really well and exceeded my expectations. However, in the last 6 weeks or so the battery life has fallen off a cliff and it now only lasts just under a week between charges. I have been in touch with customer service who have been very helpful so far and seem to acknowledge that there is an issue. They have promised to send out a replacement free of charge. Time will tell if this happens21st March 2025 â¦â¦.an update to the above. I have now received the replacement door bell which was sent free of charge. I canât fault the customer service that I have received and were if not for the battery issues, I would have been happy to up my review from 3 star to 5. However, the review is of the product and is a fair reflection.I was also put under pressure (given a sob story) to write a better review of the product as was told a poor review would affect the job security of the customer service agent. Iâm afraid they chose the wrong person to try to pressurise.

Antes de nada decir que el producto me llegó muy rápido(al dÃa siguiente del pedido) cosa que es de agradecer,debido a que me urgÃa.Sobre el timbre he de decir que me sorprendió la ligereza y facilidad de montaje.En cuestión de una hora tenÃa hecha la instalación completa.Al principio le costó conectar con el router(también he de decir que la señal wifi de mi router está a un poco apartada),pero al rato conecto perfecto.La imagen es muy muy clara,y si se activa el sonido se escucha perfecto.Un muy bien producto con buena relación calidad precio.Lo recomiendo.
