It’s a very good gift for anyone introverted or creative that you know. If they are into journaling or bullet journaling (a freeform planner, basically) then this is also great for them. There are tons of stickers and papers you can write on, and they are all fairly thick and high quality. Most inks do not bleed on them. However some of the papers are larger than the journal you get (about the size of your hand) so you can cut them smaller or use them somewhere else, e.g. for writing a nice letter to someone.The notebook lies perfectly flat when you open it and the pages don’t come up, which was very surprising. I did not expect such an amazing quality binding from this humble kit. The pages are all dotted grid printed in light 20% gray ink, so your writing stands out and the page doesn’t look cluttered. The pages are made of smooth paper that will take to fountain pen ink very well. The book cover is made of high quality cardstock with fibers embedded in it, so you know it was a special type of decorative paper. The inks used to print everything are all very vibrant.Overall I really did not expect this level of amazing quality offered for only $20. I plan on getting one for my sister and another (in a different design) for myself.I hope this was helpful!
