Hi, my name is Ryan. I have T1D and began designing CGM patches in early 2020.
Being an engineer, I knew that the design had to satisfy some key criteria in order to be a great product. These included: small in size; easy to apply; kind on sensitive skin; non-stick area over the sensor in case you want to change it; and of course, long lasting despite sweating and swimming in the ocean. I’m happy to say that our patches tick all of these boxes.

How long do they last?
Our patches are designed to last 10-14 days when applied correctly.
Are they ok for sensitive skin?
Our patches use a medical grade hypoallergenic adhesive – which means they are kind on all skin types.
We are often told that our patches are the only patches that don’t cause a skin reaction for our customers with sensitive skin.
Should I wear them in water?
You sure can! Feel free to have a shower, go swimming in the ocean or whatever else tickles your fancy.

Good protection for sensor, no irritation
My wife uses these for her Libre 2 blood sugar sensor. Each label is very sticky and waterproof making them last for the entire duration of the sensor. There are no issues reading the sensor through the patch and it hasn’t irritated the skin at all.This has definitely stopped the sensors from being knocked off her arm and has been a good value for money. Each patch will last 1-2 weeks so one pack lasts a long time.

Brilliant – hold strong
These work very well, tried others that fell off in water / swimming / sweating. these have been the best and just dont fall off. They stick for almost 2 weeks. Sometimes I may get a bit of a peel around the edges but it’s usually still stuck until the end of the sensor time limit. I always apply one of these on top when I change the sensor, this means I have the extra protection for the full 14days. Previously a sensor would catch on my clothing and fall off, which was such a waste of money. Although pricey, these are a must have for anyone with a CGM.

Works brilliantly. Elderly sister was struggling to keep sensor on and 8n place. – managing for 1 week – 10 days.With these covers sensors have stayed firmly in place until due for change.

Sensor actually lasted 14 days!
They work do work better than most, but took a few attempts to work out the best way to use them.I’m a mechanic so knocking my sensors off all the time!Backing that covers the glue comes off in 3 parts, 2 semi circles and a centre circle making fitting easy.First time round I took all the backing off sticking it to the sensor and my arm, this was a mistake as one patch does not last 14 days, they stick well but after 7 days or so of showering it had started to come unstuck around the edges. When I went to remove it, it was still firmly stuck to the sensor pulling it off in the process.For the next sensor I peeled just the outside backing off, leaving the centre circle in place. Again after around 7 days it was starting to peel, but this time I managed to remove it without pulling the sensor up and put a new one on.The first sensor I’ve had last the full 14 days!4 star rather than 5 as they don’t last the full 14 days, just need to be made more waterproof.

Dissatisfied as some work perfectly some don’t stick
Looking for a sensor patch and trying many on the market I gave these a shot, first one was perfect, easy to apply, lasted the 2 weeks before my sensor change, and very sticky, even struggled to get it off with alcohol wipes which I don’t mind because at least it stuck.Then the second one had almost a visibly less amount of glue on it when applying and looked patchy in areas but tried to apply anyway and had to take it straight off as half was not sticky at-all, tried another same problem except this one annoyingly ripped my sensor off in the process whilst not sticking to the other half of my arm.Sceptical to try again but did and the fourth was perfect again so think its just luck of the draw but will not waste my money on these again!

These are some of the best libre patches i have come across. They are a little more expensive than other brands but i would say they are worth it because i have yet to have on not last the full two weeks and even after that still be difficult to take off.

The best sensor stickers on the market
I really like these sensor stickers because they stick really well, without skin irritation and there is almost no discomfort in removal. I have tried so many types and colours of sensor stickers and these may cost a bit more than some of the others, but they are totally worth the price, for the peace of mind. You can forget the sensor is there, knowing it will be protected from damage and knocks. Highy recommend!

Good plasters. I train and play sport 5 or 6 times a week and these usually hold up for the full 14 days, even with my sweat! Also great at keeping your device secure when wrestling with your kids.

I’ve used multiple different types of over patches for my Dexcom G7 sensor. The majority of them are a variation on an adhesive bandage material with a cut-out for the sensor. Even though the sensors are supposed to be worn when in water such as in my swimming pool, I find that the adhesive begins to wear after about five days and loosens risking loss of the sensor. These waterproof sensor covers are fantastic. I chose the clear transparent model and found that it protects my sensor for 10 days of the sensor where, does not begin to peel up even with daily water exposure, and best of all keeps my sensor in position, even if I happen to knock it against something.
