Does exactly what it says
Seamlessly links with Philips hue lights and now basically every room has these dimmers in them. I particularly like the hue button to cycle through predefined scenes you can edit within the hue app.Reliability is perfect as well. Never had any issues with connectivity. Installation is a piece of cake – you literally stick it on the wall with the 3m strips provided on the back of the unit.10/10 recommend if you have Philips hue.

Easy install
As someone who loves to use smart home devices, I was really excited to try out the Philips Hue Smart Wireless Dimmer Switch V2. I have to say, I was really impressed by this device. The switch is very easy to install – it took me less than 5 minutes to set it up and get it connected to my Hue lights.One of the best things about the Philips Hue Smart Wireless Dimmer Switch V2 is that it’s incredibly versatile. You can use it to control one light, or multiple lights at once. You can also customise the buttons to do different things – for example, I set one of the buttons to turn on a specific light at a certain brightness, and another button to turn on a different light at a different brightness.The switch itself is really well-designed. It’s small and compact, so it doesn’t take up too much space on your wall, and it has a very sleek and modern look. The buttons are responsive and easy to press, and the dimming feature is smooth and seamless.One thing to keep in mind is that you do need a Philips Hue Bridge in order to use the Philips Hue Smart Wireless Dimmer Switch V2. However, if you already have other Hue products, you probably already have a bridge, so this won’t be an issue.Overall, I would definitely recommend the Philips Hue Smart Wireless Dimmer Switch V2 to anyone looking for an easy way to control their Hue lights. It’s versatile, well-designed, and incredibly convenient to use.

Great control but slightly cheap feeling
The dimmers would be the best available but there’s one issue I’ve noticed which is tapping the top corners of the on off button doesn’t register as a press sometimes, the same doesn’t really happen on the bottom corners though there’s too much flex room at the top so you can miss hit the light and need to do it again. Fine for you to remember, but not for all your guests which is the main reason for having dimmers paired with smart lights. Slightly cheap clicking noise and the magnet could be stronger as well but you get what you pay for I guess.I stilll chose to use them throughout though as they’re cheap to deploy, work great there hasn’t been any issues sending the commands when a button is hit properly, detach from the wallplate to carry around and multiple configurable functions with single press, and press and hold on the main buttons.To cover old light switches as I didn’t want these next to them and have lights possibly disconnected by people using the wrong one, and for aesthetic reasons I installed IYOKI Hue plates over my existing switches which these dimmers hold on with magnets as well.

Great Addition to the HUE System
If you have a Phillips hue system in your household then this smart wireless dimmer switch will not miss.Whether it’s a permanent fixture to be used in replace of a light switch or even as a remote this switch is very handy.As with all Phillips Hue products it is very easy to connect it to your ecosystem.The product itself looks great and feels nice in hand.Programming the switch can be figured in the app which allows you to really set the device up to suit your needs.

Amazing dimmer for hue
The quality of this switch is amazing, with compatibility with various types of hue bulbs. The fit and size were also excellent with it working on my wall very neatly. Very easy to install on the wall with the attached removal stickers with no issues with paint. The white backing and switch provides a sleek appearance. Overall great product

Was setting up hue lights for client’s kitchen, I have like 30+ hue lights at home so I have a bridge. The clients don’t really care about the bridge they just wanted good lights so I was trying to pair the lights with the remote only. I got this v2 one because it specifically said it will work. At first try I couldn’t get it to work because I was using the app to pair it. On the instruction it actually has the section showing how to pair without bridge and you just pair it by placing the remote close to the lightstrip or bulb and hold the button it will pair and work. Love it.

Deze Hue draadloze dimmer aangeschaft bij de aankoop van 3 Hue GU10 lampen voor de kamer van mijn zoon. Doordat hij een stapelbed heeft en de gewone schakelaar van de kamer bij de deur zat was er de noodzaak om het licht te kunnen bedienen naast het bed op hoogte.I.p.v. een kabel te trekken naar het bed hebben wij voor dit systeem gekozen als oplossing, dit omdat wij Hue ook al op meerdere andere plekken in het huis toepassen inclusief Bridge.In de HUE range is dit product dus een uitkomst en werkt in een woord geweldig.Het is plug en play en zeer makkelijk in de bediening, zowel via de bridge maar ook gewoon direct via de app.De bijgeleverde grondplaat met de magneet houder voor de schakelaar is direct ergens op de muur te plakken met de plak strips die al aanwezig zijn op de plaat, maar ook te monteren op de bestaande lichtschakelaar van de kamer door deze te verwijderen en hiervoor deze plaat i.p.v. te monteren (hierbij moet je dan wel de oude schakelaar uit de inbouwdoos verwijderen en de draden doorverbinden). Wij hebben ervoor gekozen op de grondplaat naast de bestaande schakelaar te plakken en de gewone schakelaar op ingeschakeld te zetten, zodat de lampen op deze manier een constante spanning hebben. Aan en uit schakelen is immers niet meer nodig want je kan nu zowel met je telefoon via de app als met de draadloze schakelaar de lampen bedienen en deze schakelaar kan je als een afstandsbediening overal mee naar toenemen. Zelfs is deze op andere plakken van metaal, doormiddel van de magneet die verwerkt is in de Hue schakelaar, te bevestigen (zie ook foto’s).De schakelaar zelf is zeer makkelijk in gebruik en buiten dat hij ze aan en uit zet kan je er ook mee dimmen en eventueel de kleurtemperatuur van de lampen mee aanpassen (moeten het natuurlijk wel lampen zijn met verschillende kleurtemperaturen (Kelvin) instellingen zoals Hue color en Hue White ambiance).
