Note: If you can’t transfer your photos from iCloud to the idoove memory stick it is because your iCloud is set to “optimize iPhone storage”. Change the setting to “Download and keep originals”

Please also note that you cannot transfer iTunes music or video files to our idoove flash drive as they are Digital Rights Management (DRM) protected.

Music and media that are downloaded from iTunes and other 3rd party apps cannot be accessed from the iD Stick because it is copy-right protected
If you fail to back up all your photos on your iPhone to flash drive, that’s mainly because most of photos were stored in iCloud before, you have to back up them again on your iPhone in WIFI situation first. Then when you transfer photos to flash drive, please be sure that your iCloud Settings has been changed to “Download and keep originals”, Finally all the photos will then appear in iD Stick “Internal”-“Photo” sections for you to select to “copy to USB”. However, the photos that had been uploaded to iCloud can only be transferred to the memory stick by a computer.

Bad faulty product. Stay away!
Tried to copy a load of media files (from Windows on a PC) and after a while the copy process gives an error. The file structure shows a load of garbage characters, and running a check reports errors, then the ‘repair’ just blanks the drive. Tried copying several times and always the same issue. I’ve never had this problem with any other USB drive. Bad product, stay away or you may just lose loads of date and wasted time.

Great little storage device
This gadget is superb. Needed something to free up space on my iPad, this wee thing done the job. Just put it into the power port on the iPad and the software on the gadget automatically starts the drive. It will ask you if you want to start the drive click to start. I bought the 64G one and it has served me well on two holidays so far and there is still plenty of space left. Great wee thing.
