Happy grandson ð
Purchased this for my grandsons amazon kids tablet , to be honest am no tech geek so when I inserted the sd card it did not show up in storage settings I was lost . So I requested a refund, Tim came to the rescue like superman in the movies . LOL am getting carried away now ð¤£. Tim told me what to do and hay presto it worked ðª. My daughters fire tablet wouldnât let her download anything more as her memory was full.Bought this and now she has got loads of memory! Ehats even better as itâs through amazon fire for kids all the games are free and donât spam her with inappropriate adverts or try to get her to buy coins!

OK once I had sorted it out
Despite being advertised as suitable for my new Kindle Fire HD 8 when I initially inserted it I was told that it was incompatible with the tablet and I would have erase or format it. When I initially tried to do this I then got a message that I could not use it without updating the tablets software. Once I had done this I got the incompatible message again but fortunately after formatting it worked. So eventually I could use it and it is fit for purpose. However I ask the questions – 1) why was the tablet sold as being suitable for an SD card when I had to do updates to make this so and 2) why is the SD card sold as suitable when it needed to be formatted. If this is standard for this sort of memory device it should be made clear on the packet. someone who is not tech savvy may well have been put off by all of this.

This little memory card worked perfectly in my tablet. Choosing it to be formatted in situ as a moveable device.I was able to use it in a Fire 8 and a Kindle. And later in a Samsung tablet. Works fine.118Gb out of 128Gb available

Failed after 30 days
I purchased this to use in an Amazon fire for one of my children. It worked for about 30 days and then stopped being recognised by the device. I formatted it and tried it on other devices and it doesnât seem to be working.Unfortunately the supplier only has a 30 day return policy. Despite trying to contact the supplier and Amazon to arrange a return Iâm yet to resolve the issue.My advice would be to spend a little extra for a well known and trusted brand.
