Refurbished Perfect Quality.
Fantastic product for the price. To buy these new it’s 3 times the price. I was sceptical at first buying a refurbished pre-owned one but so far no complaints. Works perfectly!

Excellent with good range of ports, if a bit expensive
Replaced my X1 and found that OneLink is now superseded by USB-C; new dock now needed and this one has been perfect. It is a bit expensive, but it just works. Comes with power supply, so I can keep the small unit that came with the laptop for travel.

Perfect expansion for Lenovo Thinkpads with USB-C port
The product greatly expands the Thinkpad via a single USB C connection, to an external monitor, keyboard mouse etc. When paired with an External Thinkpad keyboard (with trackpoint), the laptop can be closed and put aside while working. Just unplug the USB C cable and go when you need to take the laptop with you.,

Take care with the cables. And really expensive for what it does….
Bought this secondhand as a WFH option. Same unit as I have at work, so what could go wrong?I had not realised that the cable was so critical. The secondhand unit (bought off Amazon) came with a generic USB C cable.I tried and tried – could not make it work. Thought there was an issue with the monitor so swapped that out, tried flashing the firmware on the dock – that failed. Only then did I find that many people had the same problem and a certified Thunderbolt 3 USB C cable is required.Amazon provided, of course, but dropping £25 on a cable made the saving on a new dock not worth the time it took to sort out.A supplier issue, not a product issue, so I have still rated at 3 star. Two stars docked due to the cost which is very high in comparison with third party units.

Out of Warranty
Just be aware that this product is out of warranty and is no longer supported by Lenovo. If it works for you, it’s probably a bargain. Did not work for me so I had to return.

Works how it should and arrived within 48 hours.
Works great and does what it should. Use all the ports almost straight away with the set up and now itâs all looking clean and fresh. Most happy with service as it was delivered very quickly not holding me up for to long.

Works with Google PixelBook and StarTech DisplayPort KVM.
Works great with a Lenovo E15.Works with routing Keyboard, Mouse, external USB camera, external Jabra headset via single USB 3 connection and DisplayPort for monitor via a StarTech DisplayPort KVMAfter firmware upgrade to latest version, works with Google PixelBook.

If it doesn’t work, try other cables
With the supplied cable, the laptop attached to this dock could not detect the attached HDMI monitor or update the DP (presumably Display Port) element of the dock’s firmware. With a different cable, Lenovo part number 4X90U90619, the firmware update worked first time and the monitor is detected without difficulty. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lenovo-6GK979-USB-C-Cable-1m/dp/B07VXRY7NM
