Q:Why not compatible with my laptop？
HOTLabel label printer works with Windows and Mac.
However, it does not support the Chrome OS system(Chromebook).
(Please note that you may need a USB C to USB adapter if you are using the latest Macbook).
Q:Why is my shipping label not completely printed? Too small or only part of it?
Change your label size to 4″x 6″ on the website that generates your labels. Most platforms, including eBay, Shopify, and others, support both sizes but are set to 8.5″x 11″ size by default.If you are printing an A4 page, crop the page by using Adobe Reader in the thumb drive. Perform a print preview before printing and adjust the zoom ratio.
Q:Why I am printing blank or incomplete labels?
The most common reason is that your labels are loaded upside down. Please ensure your labels are properly loaded. The thermal sticky side that you peel off should be facing up.Make sure that your labels are “Direct Thermal” labels.
Q: How to restore the printer settings to factory default?
When the printer is off, press and hold the FEED button without letting go.Turn on the printer power while holding the FEED button.Release the FEED button until the blue light blinks.This process takes about 10 seconds.

Hot Label Printer Best Around
The printer is amazing and really good value for money. I buy and sell a lot on EBay and it has made the whole label printing process so easy. I also bought a stand for the labels as it makes it so much easier to load the machine and especially if you are printing a large quantity of labels. I have not had any problem with this printer whatsoever and would highly recommend it. The labels are clear and the print is exceptional quality. I bought the printer a while back as I donât like to leave reviews until I am very happy with the product and completely satisfied it lives up to the reviews and this printer certainly does. Cheap and Windows immediately installed it no drivers needed but did come with some on usb stick. Amazing. It literally worked in 30 seconds and I was shocked. Print quality is perfect alignment and size perfect. Love it.

Great for shipping labels
I had so many issues with my previous label printer , so I purchased this one to replace it. I was hesitant as it seemed ‘too cheap’ to be a workhorse but so far so good. I have printed thousands of labels with no issue and it was very easy to install. So far so good ðð¼

Fantastic but missing software.
Love this printer⦠Not keen on the lack of software to create your own labels, would get 5 or more stars if it did not need 3rd party software to print. I had to create a label in PowerPoint, itâs ok if you are computer literate if not may be a struggle.

I have a Dymo 450 and this is my first 4x6in printer.Installation is super easy and fast. Drivers and software come on two high quality memory sticks.The editing software looks pretty good to me, although I created specific Actions in Photoshop for my label printing needs.Friendly price and very fast printing.I’m using accordion type labels, because it was something I had in stock, but I’ll start buying roll labels and it will be even more compact.Although this printer is not intended for printing images, I tried to print something, logically using the halftone technique, otherwise you will never have this result.The print is very interesting and it is only noticeable that the print head increase temperature along the first centimetre of the print. But this is not noticeable when printing labels, the true purpose of this printer.Very happy.

Faded blurry print, Didnât arrive with everything in the box
Letâs start with the positives, the printer is really quick and easy to set up. It calibrates itself and then youâre good to go.However, the print quality is very poor. I was planning on using the printer for product labels as well as shipping labels. The âfreeâ shipping labels included werenât even in the box. Luckily I ordered some 60mm x 40mm labels so I could test the printer when it arrived. The quality was very faded and blurry. I looked on the wiki to try and fix the issue after two attempts it didnât make much difference. I think Royal Mail would refuse to take parcels with the quality of printed labels this printer provides. Sending back and looking for an alternative.

I bought this for my mother who is not the most tech savvy to use as she ships a lot of items all around the world. This printer was super super easy to set up and prints labels perfectly. Theres been minimal problems with it, so minimal that my mother has actually been able to troubleshoot it easily on her own. I live the price tag on it and the fact it came with some free labels. The only thing i think could improve with this printer is it becoming wireless, however with my mom moving her laptop around the house and plugging and unplugging the printing in constantly, she has not had any connectivity problems. So even though its not wireless its not a big deal. Its easy to reset and comes with a lot of instructions as well as a customer service help line. Im glad out of all the options i chose this one its excellent.!

Hands down this is exactly what I was looking for. It was inexpensive and quality. It takes both rolls and folds and protects the rolls from âspoilingâ inside, unlike some of those others that hold the labels in a cheap plastic carrier behind it. Came with a flash drive with the drivers for Mac, PC, and Linux, (which was a nice surprise because I can plug it into my linux server and use it remotely). The flash drive also had support docs and installation videos, plus it also includes a nice little USB-C adaptor as well. On top of all that the roll of 100 test labels was the icing on the cake. You can really tell they wanted to make an inexpensive version of the $350+ printers from Brother/Dymo/Zebra. If you had a small business or are just looking to print postage at home this is a huge win.

Printer arrived on time and I had it set up and printing a label in under 20 min ! For me thatâs a record . Simple to use and I have just finished tagging hundreds of items with no complaints . I purchased the 1.25 x 2.25 Avery style mailing labels I use as merchandise tagging . Worked perfect . It prints fast!

This is my first Amazon review despite buying hundreds of items on Amazon. I am writing this because I spent hour reading these reviews before selecting this printer. I paid more for this on Amazon because returns are easier. I didn’t need to do that. I sell on four eBay accounts and use four browsers to keep them straight. Once set up this prints instantly from Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Opera. The default printer setting “USER” had to be set to 4×6 as well as the eBay setting in each browser/eBay print screen.. I went on Amazon and bought the cheapest labels (once again in case of returns). The low cost lapels print great, I bumpped up the darkness to about 3/4s of max.I could not be happier.

It was time to get away from using full sheet 1/2 labels in my printers as the backing sheets in labels you get these days are too slippery when printing a sheet when one label had been used earlier. Lots of frustrating paper jams regardless of the brand printer I was using.This printer comes with a complementary roll of labels which was a good sales inducement. Setup on my Mac system was easy although the print drivers have to be user installed unlike many standard printers. You have to do a few test prints before you get the alignment and image darkness right. Factory default image settings are too light in my opinion but once you get it, save it as a preset and you are good to go.The printer works great with eBay, PayPal and Amazon although with Amazon on a Mac you might to use the system print dialog option as the Amazon print default is too light in my opinion. Unfortunately Endicia doesnât support any independent thermal label printer at this time.Drawbacks? Aside from a couple of mysterious half prints that occurred a few months ago, the biggest issue is the complementary label roll that came with the printer. While the labels themselves are fine, the backing paper is thin and not properly serrated between the labels. So I have to be very careful removing a printed label otherwise the backing tears up towards the blank label exposing adhesive which inevitably sticks on the inside while printing ruining the next label. Then I have to reload the labels as itâs pushed out of the track by the jam.If I had a larger shipping load per month, maybe I would look into a more expensive thermal printing machine but so far itâs been doing itâs job well.
