Great use of a wasted space
Now that wireless keyboards and mice are commonplace, it’s entirely possible that there is no use for these holes in desks. That was my position and as someone who regularly copies from SD cards this is ideal. Worth getting a power adapter for it as it struggles to power an external HDD without one (I got ASIN:B00CXNMBVI and it works great with an old phone charger.The only complaint I have is that as someone else mentioned the diameter is a tad less than advertised, but I solved this easily with a couple of rounds of gaffa tape, and it now fits snugly without any movement.

Quality and convenient product
I bought this as a replacement for the old USB 2.0 version which was worn out and I was not disappointed. I was even happier when the model I received had green and red LED indicators and not the dazzling blue as shown in the photos of the product. I do like blue LEDs but not too many as their harsh brightness annoys me. Quality product with a neat design. Very pleased. Arrived very quickly also.

Disappointing
Update – within 24 hours of leaving the below review the seller contacted me on what they could do to help – to me thats incredible support!they are sending me a replacement so i cannot fault the service so amending the review to 4 stars based on that, hopefully the second product works perfectlyI drilled a 60mm hole in my desk, to find the unit just slides in and out very easily, a 59mm hole would be more suitable and tightSo i had to glue the outer ring in, which worked fine.But then found the Mic Lead didnt work, if i use the green wire and plug that in to the mic socket, i can then use that as my microphone , but lose headphone capability, no good for headsets obviously, but there is clearly a fault with the microphone socket on my unit, the usb 3.0 works wellComes with a power socket, but doesnt tell you what its forDisappointing overall – i cant even return it because i had to glue the outer ring in -Test it before you insert it, thats my adviceSD cards though, usb sockets, all seem to work very well

Very Handy, easy access.
I am singing praise for finding this hub! I would dread moving my PC just to connect anything in the back of it. The desktop hub takes 90% of that need away. I couldn’t be happier, it’s a great product for the time that I’ve had it.

Tolerances arenât great but at this price you canât quibble.
UPDATE : Without contacting me another one has arrived by post. Sadly I have already purchased a replacement as they arenât expensive enough to be a bother. But itâs nice to know theyâre paying attention. Bumping it a few stars as when it works itâs a very useful little desk modification. Does get a bit warm but squeezing that much tech and power delivery into a small form factor is bound to get a bit warm.Dead on arrival. Cuff fitting is closer to 59mm than the 60mm the pictures claims. Fit and finnish isnât great. Micro SD card slot is very tight and might wear/damage contact pads on SD cards so cycle the port with a cheap card to soften the death-grip up a bit before risking it with a pricier fast card.

Good product although first one faulty. Good customer service.
Unfortunately The first devise I received didnât work ( the USB parts that is. no LED lit up and no signal though any of the ports)I contacted the company and the posted me a new one direct from Germany.The new one works fine now and is very useful.The unit requires a separate power source if you want to use the ports for charging. Itâs a pity they didnât recommend a suitable one on Amazon when I ordered it.Very good service, just a pity the first one was faulty.thanks.
