These were a replacement for a different brand I purchased.My previous were 6w and these are 7w Which is equivalent to a 60w standard bulb.The previous ones, started failing on 2.4ghz connectivity even though the router is in the same room, about a meter away.These connected without any difficulty and setup was straightforward.A point of note is that many complain about these types of bulb. The majority of reviews are erroneous and user error.Most hubs/routers combine 5ghz and 2.4ghz at the same time in a “mixed signal”.Not all wireless products can work with this type of signal and require you to “split” the WiFi signal into 2 separate 2.4 and 5ghz bands (so they broadcast independently.Agreeably, not all routers (like BT and Talk Talk for example) enable this to be done. That’s not the fault of the smart device. In most cases you can purchase an alternative router that enables “split band broadcasting” but if you’re not technically inclined, you won’t want to.In which case, don’t buy these products and then give them a negative review based on your misuse

I had these bulbs and I can honestly say (as someone who is a smart home addict with over 200 devices) these bulbs connected the most easily and quickly out of any of my devices.The lights have really deep colours – Alexa doesn’t make them as gorgeous as smart life app does (might take a little playing with) but it’s still more colourful than my other (more expensive) bulbs.After three months one of my bulbs flickered slightly (the other five were great) and all other functions were still working. I contacted the seller who replaced the bulbs in the fastest and most hassle free interaction I’ve ever had on Amazon.These bulbs connect well, have great colours, works with smart life and Alexa, feel good quality and are a great price. All these things and they are being sold by a good seller.5* highly recommend.Note: my video doesn’t do the colours justice – I think the camera is trying to ‘correct’ the colours

Don’t bother. Hard to set up, Intermitten in use
Don’t bother.If you have a room with one solitary spotlight, then maybe buy one. But if you’re like me and have a normal room with two sets of 6 spots, then DON’T BOTHER.Difficult to set up.Once you get that far, if you create a Group to control several lights at once, then the performance is poor. EG I made a group with six spots, turning on and off from the app, you get a random number respond. Same for setting a colour or brightness setting.If you do avoid this advice and go ahead, then you need to set them up one by one, taking them off the circuit between each setup (unplugging from the lamp fitting). Well, I say have to, the app will try and add them all at once, but after about seven attempts this way, I had to use the one-by-one approach.Returning, false economy.Will save up for HUE

Work great – however, 1 short-circuited within a week!
Great product, easiest smart bulb setup I’ve come across, with a great range of colours to change your bulbs to.The major downside is that after 1 week of low usage, 1 of the 8 GU10 bulbs blew – I mean blew in a way that tripped the 6A RCBO in my submain, and tripped the 20A MCB in my main board that was supplying the outbuilding!There’s no easy way of reaching out to the seller via Amazon for a warranty replacement bulb, and the contact details on the website of the manufacturer are pretty basic (China based).Would really appreciate Amazon or the seller sorting out a warranty replacement ASAP!
