A less expensive stand option for the Echo Show 8 & 5
I wanted this adjustable stand to change the screen angle which the Amazon Echo units sit normally on a desk. The stand allows the screen angle to be a little more vertical which is helpful when the user is sitting down or in our case in bed. In our case the Echo Show 8 will be used by an older family member who is confined to bed. The stand permits a better viewing angle with less reflection. The stand is magnetic like the official Amazon stand and is adjustable in all directions due to the spherical adjustment. I own both an Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 5 and this stand works equally well with both size Echo show units. The stand is well made in white and it feels like it will it will last well. It has a non slip base which is very effective at preventing movement.I can recommend the stand, it has not disappointed.

Excellent stand and so stylish!
I thought twice before buying this item as there are cheaper stands out there but this is really was worth the money. Top quality finish, strong magnetic attachment to device and very stable no matter what angle it’s given. The oval base also gives it a softer, more stylish appearance than many others. Yes, it seems a little pricey but I’m glad I bought is and intend buying a second one for my other Echo Show.

Smaller than expected but perfect for the job. Lifts the eco off the table nicely, reducing the growling bass a bit that comes with the eco unfortunately. Twists and turns in a nicely sturdy way, but hey monywise it is quite an expensive piece of plastic.

Simple to fit, but the tilt angle specified as +15 to -15 Deg. Is deceptive as the base of the Show also is at a 15 Deg. angle so tilting fully forwards , the Show screen is vertical and can’t be tilted down any further to alleviate reflections.

Echo Show 5/ 8 adjustable stand.
This stand is just what I needed to enhance the use of our Echo Show 8. It allows the screen to be tilted down, so that when video calling you can do it without having to move yourself to line up with the view angle of the camera. Ours is on a cabinet and can now be easily used from the comfort of our sofa. It is also better for viewing the screen as it makes the perspective of the screen larger than just letting it sit on it’s own base.When I purchase our next Echo Show I will be buying another stand to compliment it.

Actually all the Alexaâs seem to suffer mood disorders⦠sometimes theyâll scream like theyâre trying to wake the dead ð¤ªð¤ªð¤ª itâs scary when it happens at 2am ð«£ð«£ð«£ so we unplug the moodiest at night cause they can turn themselves back on too ð¤¨ð¤¨ð¤¨ hate when weâre watching a movie and she starts singing ,,, turn her off she comes back on ten minutes later and so on ð£ð£ð£ they answer questions never asked ð¤ð¤ð¤ and,,, they canât seem to locate your playlist you spent HOURS sorting ððð definitely canât upgrade until we decide whether something betters out there ð§ð§ð§

Fits echo show 8 v1 perfectly
I was sceptical after reading some of the reviews but it fits perfectly and allows the device to be moved vertically into position. The price is cheaper than the Amazon version but still slightly expensive for what it is but as it is good quality and well made, that is all that really matters. You get what you pay for.

Optisch gefällt mir der Ständer in Schwarz sehr gut. Das schlichte und moderne Design passt gut auf den Schreibtisch oder Nachttisch und wirkt hochwertig verarbeitet.Die Verstellbarkeit ist ein echter Pluspunkt. Man kann das Gerät entweder direkt zu sich ausrichten oder sogar nach oben neigen, was besonders praktisch ist für Videocalls, Filme oder beim Kochen mit einem Rezept auf dem Display.Der Magnet am Ständer bietet einen sicheren Halt. Mit etwas Druck lässt sich das Gerät gut wieder ablösen, ohne dass man Angst haben muss, dass es herunterfällt.Ein kleiner Nachteil ist, dass der Ständer Staub relativ leicht anzieht. Das ist allerdings bei ähnlichen Produkten auch so und daher für mich kein Grund zur Abwertung.
