Expensive, but worth it
I use this camera every time I go out on the motorbike I have it mounted to a selfie stick attached to the bike. Travelling across Spain and the Pyrenees mountains I got some amazing shots and videos that will last a lifetime! If youâre looking for a camera that can do so much more than just take photos and videos I recommend this! Lasts about an hour and 20 minutes so unless you want to have a USB plugged in all the time you will need additional batteries which cost approximately â¬45 each and if you are outside of the UK that can prove very difficult to get them unless you are travelling via ferry as batteries like this are not allowed on a plane Unless they are in the unit they are designed for. Now that the motorcycle season is over, I also use this camera in my car as a taxi driver it covers inside and out. But I Long for next Bike season and the adventures to follow

Great software and potential
The X2 is the first time I have tried a 360 action cam having used GoPro for several years. The software from insta360 using their app makes creating videos very easy and fun with some AI functions. Overall dropped a star because I do not like the design with the non-replaceable lenses so exposed and protruding (fix would be replaceable lens covers which they fortunately have implemented with the the X3).

Amazing camera
Bought this to take on a motorcycle tour. It’s so much better than my old GoPro. Image stabilisation is fantastic, the app to edit footage is excellent, and it’s ability to be able to pan and zoom after filming means you don’t have to worry about where it’s pointed all the time. Just take you video and decide what to focus on when editing. Makes the videos far more interesting and is like having a camera person travelling with you, giving a variety of shots. The invisible selfie stick is very clever too, almost like you have a drone following you. I found I was far more likely to edit the footage that evening rather than get home and have to wade through 2 weeks worth of shots which, to be honest, I quickly loose interest in.Battery life was impressive, and I got about 45mins of 360 video on a 32 gb memory card.The app is intuitive and easy to use, so you can really cut down long shots into short, snappy and interesting segments for combining into a longer video later. It is very expensive, but I have to admit I think it’s worth the money.

Before you buy read this.
After a lot of research and thought I finally bought a 360×3 + motorcycle kit but here’s the things you won’t find out before you buy.The recording function is locked and can only be unlocked via the 360 mobile app. The app would not even download on my old? 2018 phone so I bought a new phone which I didn’t need ( they recommend at least a 2year old phone ) My new samsung s22 was ok to download the app and unlock the camera record function but not powerful enough to run the editing part of the app properly.No problem really as I had planned on using the free pc editing suit which I downloaded to my windows 10 pc but it was not suitable and was way under the spec needed. I have used this same pc on to edit many youtube videos with various editing suits in the past. It seems the 360 raw footage can only be edited via their app or pc editing suite and then exported in mp4 format to use/edit elsewhere.I looked into buying a new pc for this but the spec needed was a high end gaming pc and not worth the cost to me… so sent the 360 camera back for a refund.So unless you have or plan to upgrade to a top spec phone and PC I wouldn’t bother with the 360x3However If you already have the right equipment I’m sure the 360 would be great and some good video’s could be made.

Glad i took the plundge!
So i bought this after alot of searching on the web, The day i bought it the very next day the X4 was announced! But that hasnt made me love this little camera any less. I love my gadgets and i still cant get over just how much tech is built into the camera.The software i prefer on an ipad or laptop as my phone screen is just a little small. The features the software has too is mind blowing, you can make some great videos with the AI function.

This is the third X3 camera I purchased. I had to return the 2 before. Neither functioned properly out of the box. That being said, I’ve installed a 1tb micro SD card in the camera (the $300 camera doesn’t come with one) it has been on my bike for several hundred miles and I’ve had zero issues with it. It takes very good video. The editing software on the Insta app is easy to use. I was surprised at how much you could do through the Insta app. It’s an expensive camera, yet I feel it does what it’s supposed to do very well. Buy a really good motorcycle mounting system. Along with a locking selfie stick. You’ll be making epic videos in no time!

We have been using the Insta360 X3 360 camera since it came out and it is an amazing camera. The image quality, stabilization, waterproofing, and battery life is everything we have asked for. We have used this camera in multiple applications and environments without a single problem or issue. It has been in Alaska filming from bushplanes, California on dirt bikes, North Carolina on mountain bikes and performed perfectly. This camera takes on any weather, any temperature and provides the best images and videos Iâve ever had!! Absolutely love the performance of this camera! The motorcycle kit and mount has held it solid in the toughest environment and has withstood some intense abuse. The interface and editing app is simple and easy to use. This is the perfect action camera.

For the price, you would think it delivers one of the best quality stuff in the market, but it has some crucial flows.1- even the 2x zoom in SUCKS, I mean the zoom capability is at potato level even with that 5.7k resolution ( divided by two lenses) . You will be surprised by how much Zoom-In you need in your videos, all sucks.2- Never seen such lazy company that sold thousands if not millions of their product to come up with a desktop app that has basic editing abilities. You know, 360 shots need special apps, so if you use the one that comes with the camera, you will not be able to Edit and combine multiple shots, which means you can’t edit multiple shots together, ah also can’t Cut-trim in the middle of the videos, either cut the start or the end basically.3- The accessories which fits the camera are too overpriced.So the camera is conditional and it fits taking shots without any zooming later on and the camera should always be close to the target that you want to film.
