Vibrant RGB Light: RGB ring on the tabletop gaming mic, offering 4 modes and over 11 color combinations. You can switch colors by pressing the button at the rear of the microphone. Even in a dimly lit room, you can adjust the RGB brightness by long pressing, with four adjustable levels from 0% to 30% to 60% to 100%. Customize the best lighting scheme based on the room’s lighting layout!
Superior Sound Quality: High-quality dynamic core for excellent frequency response (50Hz-14KHz) and impressive sound pressure level (max SPL. 120dB). TONOR dynamic podcast microphone with cardioid polar pattern to eliminate off-axis audio and reduce noise. Built-in noise reduction technology for ultra-low background noise and a pure sound experience. (Recommended recording range: 2-4 inches)
USB & XLR Output: This usb microphone supports both USB and XLR outputs. With the plug-and-play feature under USB mode, it is easy to use for desktop or laptop recording. The XLR interface outputs analog signals with lower background noise and cleaner sound, enhances the recording quality for immersive gaming audio, and supports connection to audio interface and mixer for presenting more natural and high-end audio.
Zero Latency Monitoring: Desktop microphone with a 3.5mm headphone jack can enhance your gaming audio experience. While recording game audio, you can control the desired volume level by monitoring it in real-time. The “+”, “-” buttons on the microphone casing allow users to independently adjust microphone gain and headphone input volume (applicable only in USB mode, audio interface is needed for volume control in XLR mode), pressing the mute button also enables one-click mute.
All-metal & Extendable: No need to purchase additional stands. We provide an exclusive round metal stand that can be expanded in height from 10cm to 20cm. Regardless of your desk type, the stand can be securely placed on the desktop. The all-metal structure of the microphone and stand protects the microphone from being hurt easily as well as the internal structure. (You can also purchase a boom arm stand for replacement, our microphone offers 3/8 and 5/8 interfaces!)
Plug & Play: Just connect the cable and start using it. Perfect for gaming voice, podcasting, or conference work. The package includes USB and Type C connectors, as well as XLR connectors. USB and Type C make it compatible with computers, PS5, and even smartphones. The XLR connection allows you to connect to a mixing console and audio interface, saving recording time.

Good quality at a good price (Works on both USB and XLR)
I bought this as it has both XLR and USB output. On USB mode it works as a podcast mic. The quality seems good with a cardioid pickup. With the USB plugged in you get the fancy lights on the back and controlling them is easy with the button.I was pleased to find that the mic will work on XLR mode with out any additional power. So if you dont want the fancy lights, you can simply unplug the USB and it will still work as a mic level input into a mixer. No phantom power is needed for the mic, and still the same quality. This for me is fantastic as it allows me to plug it into a DJ mixer for streaming without the need for any outboard processing.

Great value for a XLR microphone. Does it replace my BlueYeti? Not quite, but it’s close.
On a few occasions over the last month I’ve come close to finally saying I’ve found a replacement for my trusty BlueYeti condensing microphone. The Tonor has been very good, but ultimately just falls short of my experience with the BlueYeti.Where the Tonor should make you consider it is in the value. Although I felt it fell just a bit short of the warmth of the sound I consistently get from the BlueYeti, it produces are very acceptable sound from a lower price point. Not only are you getting the microphone though, but the boom arm and the ability to connect through XLR as well as USB-C. And that last bit could be a deal clincher for you.I have an XLR mixer that I tested previously for Amazon that has been gathering dust as the BlueYeti is entirely USB connected. There’s no option to connect through a mixer, and for some people that it a big negative. The Tonor allows you to connect to an XLR mixer, and provides a very decent XLR cable too. This puts you, the creator, fully in control of your sound. The boom arm is a nice addition, but it’s not perfect. In my application in my office it doesn’t quite work for me, but for many it will be ideal. I did note that it wasn’t as smooth as the boom arms I have already, and motion could transfer into sounds into your recording. Worth noting if you’re a microphone adjuster in your recordings. I don’t touch mine when I’m recording, but I’ve watched plenty of videos of people that do.Overall though, at this price point I think the Tonor is remarkably good value.

High quality close range USB + XLR mic. Boom arm is excellent
I was very happy to try out this Tonor mic for a couple of reasons.I do record a few videos/presentations (yes, even with my Black Country drawl!) and this sort of set up is excellent. I have had decent quality desk stand microphones in the past which I find to be a bit of a pain to use. Thing is – it seems the higher the quality of the microphone – the closer you need to be to it. So with a desk stand you always seem to be craning your neck.Secondly – Teams calls. While my webcam audio is hardly bad – it’s quite noticeably ‘echo-y’. I would feel a bit of a prat using a desk mic on a call – with this I can just place it to the side (fairly close though) and get on with it. And yes – I take every opportunity on a call to sign off with “don’t forget to like and subscribe!”.I’m using this myself with the USB connection. You get a decent sized cable with it but once you have routed it along the boom arm (which comes with handy velco ties) – you may find as I did you need a USB extension cable to reach your computer. Another thing to note here – initially I tried plugging this into an unpowered hub (i.e. it was just drawing the power from the host PC). This hub had lightweight devices plugged into it (keyboard + wireless mouse dongle) but it couldn’t supply enough power for the mic. A powered hub – or as I mentioned – a longer USB extension to your PC will get the job done.I’m an absolute novice when it comes to XLR – but I did try the mic with my son’s mixer/looper box (with which he actually already uses a different Tonor mic!) and all was good there. I didn’t need an external ‘phantom power’ source to get it working.Recording quality is excellent – I’ve attached an example to the review. While there’s no pop filter, there is a foam windscreen with the mic. On my example, I did get a little bit of peaking (I’ve left it in the video as not to cheat) – but it does go to show the value of pop filters or as in my second example – talking across the mic.The light on the mic itself can be set to various colours or a colour cycle. Thankfully it includes my favourite colour – “Off”.This is a great all round package and has the quality you expect from Tonor. It’s priced at £74.99 (but at the time of writing is 20% off – get it!).

My friends told me that sounds good without any problem. I only use it with usb connector, but you can use it also with a XLR cable to connect it to a soundboard. The arm fits well and it’s very strong, also the materials seem of good quality. I used a velcro to fit the cable to the arm, put some charms and it look good and sounds good.I use it without light, but you can use the colors and the strenght of light that you want.
