Connected effortlessly. Sound quality is plenty good enough and compares well with more expensive buds I’ve owned.

Dull out of the box, and the fit is subpar
Out of the box, the sound is dull and lifeless, the high frequencies are muted, and there is no clarity whatsoever. I tried to connect these to the Sennheiser app, but it would not find them, so I used Wavelet to fix the EQ and they are far better. The open nature of the buds allows sounds in, but the way they have achieved this seems to be via a loose fit, and this makes them insecure in your ear. They always feel like they are going to fall out. They should have included wings or similar, as normally the silicone tip would help secure them in your ear. When EQ’d the sound opens up and you get far more clarity in the upper mids and treble. I don’t know why Sennheiser are obsessed with softening the upper region of the spectrum, but EQ can generally fix that.I have a lot of open ear headphones and these don’t sit anywhere near the top. Sennheiser could have done far better here

Nice little earbuds but the sound needs some tweaking
My partner has been looking for comfortable, decent sounding earphones for a while now and thankfully, these Sennheiser Accentum wireless earphones have been great so far.In the box you receive the earbuds along with the charging case and a USB C charging cable. The quality is excellent as youâd expect from a brand like Sennheiser.Connecting and using the earbuds is fairly straight forward but I did have a couple of issues with the short cuts that you can use on the earbud stems.Connecting them to your device is easy, tap and hold the 2 stems of the earphones and wait for the noise that indicates pairing mode, then you just select the earbuds in your Bluetooth list and away you go.One thing Iâd like to point out is that these earbuds did often fall out of my ears, I donât know if itâs the matte finish that makes them a bit slippy or if itâs just my awkward ears, just be aware that these might not be great for exercising or lots of head movement. The earphones have shortcuts on the earbud stems that you can use so you donât have to control them via your device. Things like skipping track, pausing or turning the volume up and down can be done by tapping or holding the sides. Whilst skipping, pausing and playing tracks was fine, I did initially have a problem with how to turn the volume up and down. Each time I pressed the earbud stem, it either paused or skipped the track, it was super annoying. Eventually I manage to work it by pressing and holding the left or right earbud stem to adjust how loud or quiet I wanted it. I think I wasnât holding the stem long enough to be honestâ¦yes Iâm impatient! As for the sound, I found it to be a little bit bassy and slightly tinny at times. If you have an EQ app on your device, you might want to tweak it slightly. Still, my partner said she doesnât mind the quality at all.Sadly thereâs no surround sound or noise cancelling on this model but it does a perfectly fine job despite missing those extras. The charging case is nice and compact but it is a little bit awkward getting the earbuds out of the caseâ¦it could just be my chubby fingers though. The earbuds magnetically slip in to the case when you place them in to their relevant hole. The lid is also magnetic which snaps shut when you close it.Charging is done via the USB C port in the bottom where thereâs a light to indicate charging. On a full charge, these earbuds can last up to 28 hours which is great for any long journeys.Overall, these arenât a bad set of earbuds. They arenât perfect but with a bit of EQ app tweaking, you can get the sound to how you want it.The quality is good, the charging case is nice and compact and the battery lasts a decent amount of time.My partner really loves these earbuds and has been using them constantly and she definitely recommends them.

Could have been Great – Only Okay
First off. These look and feel like a premium product. Very solid and just have âthat feelâ. They are heavily âinspiredâ by the standard AirPods so because of this these either will fit and stay in your ears or they just wonât. For me the right stays in nicely but the left kind of slips out and I can never get the fit right.Once in they are mostly comfortable but never disappear in your ears, youâre always aware you’ve got earphones in. Due to the design there are some sharp edges around the mesh which I feel particularly. For earbuds which I guess you would class as âopenâ as in they do not go into your ear canal forming a seal these sound surprisingly and frankly shockingly good. Usually these kinds of earbuds are useless but not these. Sennheiser claim that they have classic Sennheiser tuning but no, they really donât. They also DO NOT like EQ. Overall sound quality is great as you get lots of detail and clarity. Highs donât make your ears bleed and there is lots of Bass. There is actually way too much bass. I actually took all EQ off when using these as the bass was actually u pleasant and bordering on painful which sounds odd and it is odd. However at the price these are youâre getting a lot of great sound quality for reasonably little.Battery life is really good and thereâs a decent battery in the case to give you plenty of listening time. There are no indicators on the case or anything to show charge levels so youâll have to figure that out for yourself.Thereâs some things I really donât like about these earbuds though so here goes. The Bass. Iâve mentioned it but for a company famous for its warm and neutral tuning the bass is weird and I kind of hate it.The touch controls are utterly and completely useless. I wish companies would stop capacitive controls and go back to buttons. All capacitive controls are garbage and these are some of the worst Iâve ever used.Mic quality is garbage. No one can hear me on these even when inside my house doing nothing. I would hate to use outside. These are basically unusable for calls. There is no app I can find to update the earbuds, change the rubbish controls or tweak the sounds. Usually I CBA with apps but these earbuds desperately need some ability to be modified. These could have been really, really great for the price offered but weird and frankly dumb design choices make these only okay

(+) Pros:- You can genuinely forget you’re wearing them â incredibly light and comfortable.- Connection is lightning-fast. I mean really fast, and reliably connects to both paired devices.- Multipoint switching is seamless â quick, easy, no drama. No more âplease find Bluetooth device for the hundredth timeâ moments (hello, Huawei).- NO companion app â no endless unnecessary options, and no â5 updates a month with zero noticeable improvements.â- Auto-pause works perfectly when you take them out.- Matte finish on both buds and case â finally! No more glossy fingerprint magnets (hello, Samsung), no scratches on day one, and they donât slip out of your hands or ears.- Sound quality is decent â nothing mind-blowing, but perfectly fine for everyday use (and not a top priority for me).- Touch gestures just work. No fuss, no misfires.(±) Neutral:- ANC is practically non-existent â but thatâs expected and acceptable for semi-open earbuds.(â) Cons:- To connect a new device, you need to press both buds at the same time. So if you misplace one, you’re out of luck. No new connections until itâs reunited.
