Great value for money steering wheel bar
This is fantastic value for money. It works well, it’s easy to use and it’s relatively compact. It looks great and build quality is far better than you would expect for a budget item. It doesn’t have any official standard rating but it will be good enough to put off a casual thief.

A bit fiddly but functional
It appears well made and functional as a visual deterrent and probably would at least slow down a determined car thief.It took a bit of time to work out how to position it so it can be seen from the front as I have the steering wheel adjusted fairly low and if positioned horizontally it cant be seen behind the dash display and if vertical it clashes with the screen so I put it at about 45 degrees as in the photo and that suits. It is a bit difficult to slide under the seat when not in use because of the electrics under there so it will sit in the passenger footwell which is not great but acceptable. I also found the plastic ‘hammer’ cap slid off easily until I fitted the foam rubber protection strips which holds the cap better but I also added tape to be sure. Final niggle is that the key it retained in the unlock position and only releases when the mechanism is locked which is not ideal in my opinion but hey ho.All told its not a bad piece of kit with a couple of irritations but if it does the job then that’s ok. Cant give 5 star but better than 3 star!
