Carol Microphone – Worth a go
As a recent purchase, I have used the Carol microphone twice so far. It has a nice rich tone to it, and compared to others I have used which were more expensive, this microphone can stand next to them proudly; it feels and sounds like a quality microphone., having a cable to compliment the microphone is also very handy.

I tried it on a Yamaha keyboard and it was very bad. I even stuck the microphone to my mouth and the sound only came out very little

As I required a battery operated mick. I was disappointed when this one turned up which requires an amp. Finding it difficult to find amp to fit connectors

I was looking at reviews and was baffled by some of the bad ones, which were all for the most part customer errors, “wasn’t loud enough” is a YOU problem not having a strong enough amp, or having the volume up loud enough. “Was not a powered Mic” the description tells you it is not, that seems again, like a YOU problem. Truth be told, I am a DJ, I own 3 of these mics and they are AMAZING for the price, they have a crisp clear sound, similar to a Sure 58 , I have quite a few of those as well, as an audio guy, who likes a crisp clean look to go along with the sound quality, you truly can not beat this mic… I ONLY wrote this review because of the ridiculous reviews I saw.. also, I do events 5 days a week, all year long… I know quality…. You get MUCH more than you pay for with this mic.

Let me tell you this, don’t let the price of this microphone fool you. I have used high end mics from gigs (sm58, Sennheiser 855 & 835 and shure skull mic) but this one is a super cardioid dynamic microphone which is by the way has a greater value than other expensive mics. Don’t get me wrong, those mica that I mentioned are great mics BUT for this price, I’ll be damned! You can be wrong in choosing this brand! And btw, I also use their skull type mic! It has superb tone too! Carol mics are awesome! Lastly, it’s also built like a tank, it is durable with a cool color gold!
