Great value for money – Records both Video and Audio
This is great value for money. 1080p quality footage for less than £20 is crazy. Not much different to an Elgato. I had wondered if Audio was recorded on this since a lot of others seem to not. Initially when plugging it in and setting up OBS theres no audio so to get audio you need to add a new audio input device and its the USB one with the same name as the Video Capture Device. Video and Audio both work perfect. Great product.

Fantastic quality at such a low price
I bought this specifically because it was cheap just to do some testing but honestly I’m stunned by how well this works. Plug it in via USB, connect a device to the HDMI and you’re off. No config of any kind in OBS Studio, pipes audio without any issues and the latency is basically non existent.I used to have an AverMedia Live Gamer Mini that cost somewhere in the region of 3 times as much as this and honestly it’s not as good. It was fussy about input, difficult to configure and lacked support for 4KTested with a Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck and both work flawlessly. Absolutely fantastic.

Works well.
For even low end PCâs this works really well im impressed. A downside tho⦠if ur on a low end laptop or Pc, the best performance youâre going to get is 720p 60FPS. But i would definitely recommend!!

? Ultra-low latency/delay ? But Latency/Delay is very noticible !
Seller says: “Using ultra-low latency ….., …… without delay, output without delay……..”. Etc.BUT Latency delay-lag is ‘very’ noticeable, and cannot be described fairly as “live”, or “without delay”, but accurately is eg “delayed-live”.If Amazon wound get sellers to state delay time, so buyer can decide if stated disclosed delay will have significant impact on use.

You won’t be disappointed
Summary:The device is great as i am able to capture gameplay from my console straight to my laptop, it does as advertised and I’m happy. Not much else to say, I’d highly recommend it.General:The box contains: 1 capture card, 1 USB A, 1 USB C to A adapter, 1 manualAlthough the USB is 3.0, it didn’t matter for my 2.0 USB connection. I paid £18.99 for this product. I did get the one without HDMI, so I can’t talk on the quality of that.Review:It comes with a USB C to A adapter – if for whatever reason, it didn’t work straight from the USB, my laptop has a USB C port which I could instead use. The capture card itself is extremely light and small, which I wasn’t expecting. This is literally plug and play, which is nice. One nitpick I do have is that the USB A provided feels kind of cheap and hollow, despite that it feels like it’s built to last. It’s hard to explain. I hope this review was helpful.

Price point reflects quality
Capture cards can be very expensive, be it for video game recording or streaming or for other Video Camera capturing, the more you pay is quite often reflected in the quality of the card itself and when you go cheap, it can sometimes work or just be more problematic. Sadly this capture card is very much a reflection of its low pricing and not one I would recommend unless you needed an emergency spare.Out the box you get the external capture box itself with a USB cable for PC/laptop connection and power, there is an option to get one with a HDMI Cable but it is no doubt cheaper to just add one yourself. The issues with it were right away, firstly my streaming software OBS, could not recognise it at first, and when it did it showed a generic USB device name instead of the branding this card has. OBS saw it and I was able to grab the video from my Nintendo Switch Dock, which btw against the marketing, the Switch cannot do 4K video streaming so yeah, at best you will get 1080P.OBS then struggled capturing audio via the USB of the capture card, often dropping it completely or just not finding it at all after setup, I changed the USB cable and had a better experience but it would often just fail to capture the audio as a source from the card which made it pretty useless as a capture device. When it worked though, it did work fine for both Video streaming and video recording of Gameplay, but the unreliability of it and tendency to cause more issues means this is not something I would rely on as a main capture card and again, the more you invest price wise the better quality the capture card will have. Sadly not a Capture Card I would recommend or advise to use.
