Here’s how it works…
Connect your Video2Digital Converter 3.0 to your VCR, camcorder, AV video source, or an audio source (3.5mm or RCA) such as a cassette player or turntable.Plug in a USB flash drive or MicroSD card into the converter. (Not included; 512GB or less.) Your digitalized audio or video will be saved onto this drive.Press the “Record” button on the converter. You’ll be able to see your video on the 5″ LCD as it transfers. (No computer is required to capture your videos and/or audio!)Press “Record” again to stop recording (or use the “Custom Auto Stop” feature to stop recording after an exact, preset amount of time).Remove your USB flash drive or MicroSD card from the converter, and insert it into your computer to transfer your digitized videos or audio to your computer. A great bit of kit
I have been worrying about losing precious memories of my children growing up and lost loved ones stored on miniDV tapes for some years now. I have tried a few video to PC transfer cables, none of which seemed to work, so I had assumed I would have to send the tapes off to be copied into digital format at great expense or risk losing them. I then saw this device which had good reviews and decided to invest it. I have not been disappointed. Although quite expensive it has saved me even greater expense and a lot of time and worry. It is very easy to set up and use and worked perfectly first time. I copied my tapes onto a USB drive which then allowed for easy transfer to PC and multiple backup drives. Highly recommended.

This little box is amazing. Boxes and boxes of old VHS tapes are being transferred to a USB stick!It’s so easy to do and great fun seeing all the videos again.I’ve registered the product and get an extra one year on the warranty.It’s an outstanding piece of equipment. Not the cheapest item but it really is so good to use.

Excellent product
Very easy to use. The only disadvantage is that it saves as mp4 files only. Other file extension options would have made this product perfect. Good picture quality (although this depends on the source VHS tape), good size and value for money. Saving directly to USB stick or memory card, means that the video files can be played on most modern tvâs from these memory devices. DVD burning capabilities are needed to transfer files onto DVD (make sure your software can accommodate mp4).However, a highly recommended product.

Nice blue screen with a shocking pink bar going up & down
I bought this unit to convert my old Video Holliday tapes into a digital format so when I switched it on a blue screen lit up followed by a pink bar travelling down wards to the bottom, after connecting it to my video camera I tried to play the recorded file â cannot play file âso I tried downloading the file onto a dongle âcannot save fileâ , after five days strugglingthatâs as far as I got .But if you have a thing with colours it does have a Nice blue screen every time you turn it on together with a shocking pink line that travels to the bottom of the screenâ Mesmerising ââTAXIâ

Per quello che costa non vale quasi nulla. Nel video deforma le facce, qualità video scarsa soprattutto il display è di pessima qualità e non ha input e output S-Video (anche i recorder video da 20 ⬠ce l’hanno). Non lo consiglio. Con circa 25 ⬠se ne può comprare uno che fa lo stesso lavoro o addirittura meglio. L’unico pregio è che con questo non serve un computer. Fa tutto lui, ma lo fa male.
