USB 3.0 port expansion at a reasonable cost
As we all collect more devices and peripherals, the need to be able to connect multiple devices to our PCâs becomes problematic with the limited ports of the out-of-the-box PCâs and laptops. This expansion hub helps to solve that without costing a fortune (£8.99 at the time of my order). The hub is a true USB 3 compliant multi-port expansion which works well with my 13â MacBook Pro. The more you connect, the slower the write works which is to be expected as you are still sharing a host port with a finite connection spec. Itâs fine for adding a external hard drive or two whilst adding a keyboard and mouse to the hub, meaning the essentials only take up a single port whilst leaving full speed ports for additional removable storage for instance. Having a native USB-C connection to convert to a multi USB-A hub is handy as the ports on the Macbook range are rather close together, so works better than adapting a USB-A plug.

A cracking multi port adapter
This is a nicely made, sturdy multi port adapter which works a treat. The fly lead is just the right length so the adapter doesn’t get in the way, yet is long enough to make usage a treat and you can hide the adapter round the back of the laptopI didn’t have any problems or needed any drivers, so the ports work a treat, have a good positive connection and they aren’t going to fall outJust the ports I was looking for and it’s now a firm fav adapter
