Premium feel, comfortable, good connectivity, Sonar EQ, quality sound
I was looking for a new headset for gaming and seen this in the top 3. Planing to use it as a traveling headset occasionally I got the nova 7 for the best design. If you see them you will not guess its actually a gaming headset. Premium feel, comfortable, good connectivity, mic could of been a bit better but no complaints, Sonar EQ and all the good stuff. First thing when i received it I noticed max volume was pretty low and found that it’s locked in settings, if you unlock that you need to be careful as it’s extremely loud at max vol. An expensive headset but after 2 months now I will say it’s well worth the price. Good luck!

Amazing Value â Surprised Me Compared to My High-End Headset
I bought these as a Christmas present for my brother, and heâs been using them daily since. I was there when he first unboxed and tried them and we were both really impressed. The build quality is solid, theyâre extremely comfortable, and the sound quality genuinely surprised me.I personally use Astro A50 Gen 3s, which cost more than double, and I honestly think the sound on the Arctis Nova 7s was better! clearer and more immersive. That really shocked me in the best way. For the price, these are an absolute win.Theyâre lightweight, comfortable enough for long sessions, and packed with features that make them ideal for any gamer. Excellent value for money, Iâd confidently recommend them to anyone looking for a top-tier wireless headset without breaking the bank.

Headsets great, software sucks
TLDR: Headsets fine other than being quieter than expected, software sucks ass.The headset looks great, the connectivity is fine, comes with usb c and a-c hubs if you have no usb c port on the pc. My problem with this is, unfortunately, itâs fairly quiet, even at max volume, meaning you need the SteelSeries software to boost the volume, although this software then adds 6 output devices to windows, and each time you select âdonât allowâ in windows it removes themâ¦until you turn off your computer, the next time you start up windows, itâs then changed the default audio and added the 6 audio outputs again, so you either have to put up with it constantly adding and changing audio outputs every time, or deal with lower volumeâ¦

Unreliable quality
Absolutely garbage – broke after less than a year of use but unable to return via Amazon directly and SteelSeries own support website is of no help. I looked after it and it was never damaged, but it’s just become permanently turned on (yet no sound/function) and resetting hasn’t helped.Good quality sound and generally solid battery life but cannot recommend due to the absolutely shoddy quality.

Good Replacement For Other Headset Designs
Pros:- Good build quality (Been using this for over 1.5 years)- Breathable mesh earcups (Prefer these over fake leatherette that always peels)- Fairly seemless dual connection (Phone via Bluetooth + PC via dongle)- Lighter in weight and not as painful to wear compared to HyperXs or Logitech ProsCons:- Not quite as good sound quality as the Logitech Pro X I had before- Not quite as good mic quality as the Logitech Pro Xs either but more than usable- Steelseries software is too fiddly to be use comfortably (Constant switching of modes etc)- Sometimes will have issues if trying to connect to a PC/Mac via bluetooth without resetting/disconnecting a few timesSo I’ve had this headset for over a year now and can confidently say that coming from the style of headphones like the HyperX Cloud line or the Logitech Pro series that for me this build of headset is far superior. Both of the other brands I’ve had one or more parts of the headset break from mechanical stress, guessing it’s the combination of metal on plastic parts that makes them break eventually.My other favourite thing about the Artis Nova 7s is that there’s NO fraying from fake leather headbands or earcups you get with most other ‘gaming headsets’ as the headband is made from a cloth material and the earcups are a mesh design. I’ve had multiple gaming headsets where this is the issue and it drives me insane and means I’ll always eventually need to buy new earcups/headbands if the headset itself doesn’t break first.I’m also quite rough with my hardware usually and I’ve fallen asleep multiple times over the past year (long distance relationship) and it’s stood the test of time even with me rolling onto my side and pressing on them in my sleep and even dropping them onto the floor a few times. My previous headsets couldn’t handle that kind of treatment and would always break eventually, plus the fact that you can somewhat fold the ears cups mean that I’ve taken them with me in my backpack before to work/uni.This being my first wireless headset I don’t think I could go back, the fact that I can both be on a Discord call on my PC and also browse my phone or talk to my partner on my phone at the same time is a big quality of life thing for me. My partner’s mentioned to me that my Logitech Pro Xs had slightly better mic quality but wasn’t that noticeable, I don’t use the Steelseries software anymore after not getting along with it but it may have improved since. And as for the sound quality it was also a bit of a downgrade compared to the Logitech’s but after over a year of using them I’m confident in saying that they’re more than usable as someone that listens to a wide variety of music and whilst not being on the audiophile level of things these headphones sound more than decent compared to past headsets. You may be able to get ‘better’ sound if you use the softwares EQ settings too.If you’re looking for your first wireless gaming headset and for whatever reason need dual connection then I can definitely recommend this. I did consider the wireless Nova Pros but heard they had more teething issues with sound quality and the build quality seemed a bit more questionable at the time I compared the two. I couldn’t for the difference in price justify the Nova Pros either and if this pair breaks then I’d happily buy another Nova 7.

The build quality feels premium. sound is amazing and very customizable using the EQ. 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth are working as you would expect. And the battery last so flipping long. It’s less comfortable than my previous headset the Blackshark V2 X but Its still pretty good.
