Fiddly to set up but works well.
I have the Smart Life app on my phone and tablet. I tried setting this up on my phone but it kept telling me it was not compatible with the 5ghz WiFi. I tried setting it up using the app on my tablet using the same WiFi and it worked first time. Oh well ..hey ho! Love it.

Super usefull snart product to have. Cheap compaired to local supershop. Maximum load capacity is high enough to use heavy load appliance. App enabled and can control from anywhere. A lots of smart features available on app. Timer and schedule function available. East connect with WiFi.

If I could give minus stars I would
This isnt the first smart plug I’ve gotten for use with my echo dot, the first one I bought is a different brand and it just connected easily when switched on. This one is extremely convoluted requiring a 3rd party app that requires setting up first. Got the app, the plug didn’t connect. Come to see that I am on a 5Ghz network, and this plug is ONLY compatible with 2.4Ghz. I am not amazing with IT but there appears to be nowhere to change that. I’ve gone back through the listing and it does say on one tiny part of a multi part ad that it’s only for 2.4. My fault for not meticulously scouring the listing, however I would argue that most people don’t really know what that even means. I have virgin media WiFi. Which a lot of people have, so this is clearly going to be an issue for a fair amount of people. Even though it does say the requirement in the listing, if this is so important that not having the correct frequency or whatever it is renders this thing a hunk of useless plastic, it needs to be in way way bigger writing and not hidden away. Don’t buy this, go with something better.
