Great product but……
A quality product that delivers. My Mac Mini connected straight away and throughput is fast. Only but is that the connecting USB cable is fixed and only 2” long – probably not a problem for most people – but I wanted this dock to sit below another drive I use for time m/c backup. Simple to sort by buying a USB female/male extension cable but added £10 to the cost.

As with all UGREEN products, this dock is well made, has a premium feel and at least a reasonable amount of thought has gone into the design.Designed to sit directly underneath the M4 Mac Mini (almost acting like a base), this transforms the mac with expansion slots including SD, TF, USB A and C and a slot for an M2 NVMe drive.It works well, functions at the speeds advertised from what I’ve played around with and doesn’t seem to have any issues with overheating or noise.For £90 at time of review, I find it a tad steep for what is a glorified USB dock, but it works well, aesthetically matches the mac and is a great extension to the mac setup (even if this extensibility should be default on a creators device!)

Me gustó y era lo que esperaba. Temía que hiciera interferencia con el WiFi pero las velocidades son las mismas con y sin el dock de Ugreen, en mi caso no afecta en nada la velocidad del Internet inalambrico, se mantiene constante en ambas mediciones.Vengo de usar disco duro externo de Toshiba (hdd) y las velocidades de lectura y escritura eran de 90 Mbps más o menos, para mí fue maravilloso ver como el SSD crucial pcle 4.0 M.2 2280 que le instalé podía escribir 100Gb en 2 minutos. Sé que con otro dispositivo que aproveche todo su potencial podría haberlo hecho en 30 segundos, pero no es un drama para mí esa diferencia de tiempo. Debo decir que el dock se calienta un poco por el solo hecho de estar conectado, aunque posiblemente sea algo normal. (Cuando instalé el ssd no lo detectó la Mac mini, pensé que el dock de ugreen estaba malo o tal vel la ssd, lo abrí y ajusté de nuevo, y funcionó. Como es la primera vez que instalo este tipo de memoria no la encajé bien).Es primera vez que uso un producto de ugreen pero sé que es una marca con reconocimiento, por el momento ha sido una buena experiencia.

This 11-in-1 Mac Mini M4 dock seems to offer the most USB-A ports (five) along with a pair of Type-C (the other Type-C is for supplying power to this dock/hub; makes the full 11 ports). This doubles up the Type-C number if one wants the remaining accessible rear Mac ports to retain their Thunderbolt 4 functionality! [Not yet placed in service at this time as owner’s M4 Mac is in line for internal upgrade]

I purchased 2024 Mac Mini M4 and quickly realized I needed some additional ports. So, I began scouring the internet for some Mac Mini docks. At first, I was really eyeing the Caldigit TS4 which was a little outside the budget at the moment. I’ve tested all the ports on this dock and everything works great so far. Build quality is good. It does not feel cheap which I love. I haven’t noticed any performance issues with this dock and the peripherals connected. The dock is no slouch! I plan to install M.2 NVMe SSD Drive soon to expand the storage.
