NULAXY Mobile Phone Stand For Desk, is the fellow I am reviewing here.Long story short, I wanted to get a clock for my bedroom so I could see the time when I would wake up at night. Like a neon thing or something that would be visible to blurry nighttime eyes. But nothing was suitable. I used to have a nice clock radio that projected the time large on the ceiling. But those don’t seem to exist now. I’m old.Then I got a new phone and found that there’s a function which keeps a message on the screen at all times. Ideal, I thought. I will have the time on there and put that on my nightstand and it will serve.So, I bought this wee stand to put the phone on.It’s red, but your phone doesn’t have to be red, unless that’s your bag. My phone is around 10.5mm thick with its protective case on, and about 166mm long (from top to bottom). The bracket that the phone sits in is about 16.5mm deep and about 72mm tall.The astute amongst you will note that the connective part of the stand is less than half the height of the phone! I did hope it would be more than that, and I can see why some customers would think that was too small, and that it could lead to instability, endangering both the phone and anything it might impact on the way to wherever gravity might take it.However, I have tried it out and it’s not too bad. My particular phone has a very thick charging cable, with an extended USB-C connector, which is at odds with the functioning of the stand, in that the cable is put under tension by the shallow height of the stand, there being at most approx 29.5mm of clearance when the stand is positioned in such a way as to allow the screen to be viewed by this sleepy headed reviewer.Not to worry though, as I have a ready supply of BluTac (you know the stuff, I’m sure), which I have used under the base to secure it against the tension of the cable. Only time will tell if this is a wise move. I worry (not too much though) that the stress on the cable may damage it.But cables are cheap, right?Interestingly, I chose red because my phone charging cable is red, but the shades are entirely different! I’m an aesthetic mess!

Perfect little compact stand, great for travelling.
I have a nulaxy laptop riser which is really sturdy and has lasted me years. When looking for a new phone stand I thought I would look to see what they had and was pleased to spot this item. The stand comes in a variety of colours and I chose the pink. I found it solid and easy to adjust it holds my s25 ultra with case on something lots of others stand cant do. I also tried it with my tablet. Not sure about it supporting my iPad air my it holds my kindle fire hd8 perfectly. I bought this mostly for travelling on trains and planes and I have found that stand folds down very compactly and also fits in my headphone carry case. I think stand is good value for money.

Very usful item arrived on time
My phone is in a leather case and will still sit safely on the stand. I did not need an extending pole for the phone because I have a desk with a key board that slides underneath the screen. This means the stand can be placed on the same surface as the screen and I can chat as I type. Or look up documents and information as the conversation requires it; so it is very useful. Also the phone does not get buried in papers. and the stand can be folded up and slipped in a desk drawer, or a laptop bag if I am working away from my desk.

Use without a iPhone cover
The gadget is good with a iPhone without a cover I have a phone with a cover to protect my phone from being dropped etc, it will hold the phone but it’s a bit unstable, so I would recommend if you are going to purchase it do so if you are not using a iPhone cover. HoweverIt’s a good buy and does what it’s meant for..

This is made of strong thick aluminium, with ‘rubber’ at the base and resting cradle to prevent any scratches. NO sharp edges anywhere, all well rounded. My phone is old, thick and heavy, use an old fashioned flip cover. Overall the thickness of my phone is 27mm (including the case) and the stand can easily take my phone all the way to the bottom of the cradle, also with the charging cable attached. In fact the cradle is 28mm all measured using a digital caliper. Need some effort to unfold and that makes the stand very stable even if you move the phone very forward (would not topple over). Comes in a nice box, could be given away as a gift/present. I paid less then A$14.00. Money well spent. Excellent quality!
